The bed is very flimsy, and cheaply made. My 8 year old daughter can't get on it without it rocking side to side. Once she is on the bed the mattress supports start to bow. It's says rated for 300 pounds but anything over 75 isn't recommended. Also, all hardwear is exposed after assembly.

We purchased this bed for our daughter as a birthday gift! A "big kid bed" for our 8 year old! I was a bit worried about getting the bigger "full size" as her room isn't huge but what I didn't realize is this bed is like buying 3 pieces of furniture in one! We were able to get rid of her old desk, bed and shelving! This all in one masterpiece is awesome! She has enjoyed hanging out up above, playing school at the desk and arranging her books and little girl Knick knacks on the shelves below... and her room is still roomy and comfortable! I highly recommend this bed for kids, teenagers, or even adults looking to save a little space! Bonus is the bed is big enough for some serious snuggle time with mom also! My husband and I put it together in no time and it's nice and sturdy unlike other loft beds I've seen!

This was a PAIN to put together on my own. The instructions were clear and everything was labeled just a lot of pieces and awkward to hold together as you go without help.But it is exactly what I was looking for, my daughter absolutely loves it and it seems to be pretty good quality.
