This is great stuff, very easy to use and very effective. The glue holds very well with just a bit of moisture, and the seal becomes solid very quickly. It is an indispensable tool for shipping large/thick cardboard packaging (will also work with lighter stuff, but it is not quite so necessary with small/light items). If a box splits along a seam, the tape will hold it together as good as new (maybe better than new, since the "new" box split in the first place).This 3" tape is a little more useful for me than the more standard 2" tape, because it provides wider coverage, you need to cut and attach fewer pieces. Also, if you are sealing a box around a corner/edge, the 3" tape gives you an extra half-inch on each side, which makes for a stronger bond.

Got these roles to move but will use in the future for storage of boxes. Heavy duty, worth the cost and easy to use.

So when I first got this I was bummed because I didn’t think it actually was bio/degradable (now I believe it is) So it comes in a HUGE roll (I got the 2 pack) I actually LOVE it and I’m so glad I chose it because you just have to use I long piece of tape for the whole box, there’s no need to / you can’t overlap tape on top of itself, seals much more securely than tape and will never use plastic tape again! You have to cut a piece off the roll, and I took a medium-ish wet sponge after cutting and swipe it across the shiny side until it’s tacky, had the box prepared and then just used one piece to tape the whole box. It can’t be tampered with (it’s literally almost the exact kind of tape Amazon uses. You end up using way less, it is far more durable than plastic tape, and it’s biodegradable. Will never go back to wasteful plastic tape! Thought I bought the completely wrong thing, but it’s wasn’t!

Good, sturdy tape. But I do not have a machine for this specific tape, so it takes longer for me to use this tape. If you have a machine for this tape, it would be perfect.

This item does not stick to boxes and does not hold up well at all. I used it to tape up moving boxes during my move and am so happy I reinforced the boxes with different packing tape because most of the tape from this roll was barely attached when the boxes arrived. Total waste of money.

I’ve only used this kind of tape for the first time this year one other time but a different brand. With this said keep in mind, my rating is based off my experience between these two. I chose this tape for long term storage of seasonal items and it does better with climate changes. Regular packing tape tends to lose its stickiness after a little while and pulls away from the box. This kind of paper tape also allows you to reuse your boxes without tearing it up.First, it was 2 in a package and a little more cost effective. Didn’t have bad reviews either. I immediately noticed the texture of the adhesive. It felt thick and could already feel the stickiness. I thought, “Great, shouldn’t have to worry about it sticking right away.” That was wrong.It isn’t easy to handle. The other brand I was able to cut multiple of the same size and combine them to be able just grab and go. I would then use the edge of the box to straighten to be able to get it wet and then stick to the box. Once you extend this tape, the tape immediately ribbons/spirals out and doesn’t rollback. Now you might be thinking so what, but even while trying to straighten it to be able to get wet it then curls inward making it difficult once again to get an even saturation.So, the adhesive on this tape spreads. I mean spreads but it also does not fully adhere on the edges as you can see in the first two images. This is important for prevention of tearing of the tape. No matter how much I’d pressed it down it would pop back up even with all that gum. Speaking of the adhesive, it got all over my hands and is what prompted me to write this. You can see the shininess. With as much adhesive as I ended up with on the outside of the tape and all over my hands you’d think it would have spread to those edges and hold them down.The other brand also did not seem to soak up water on the non-adhesive side like this one seems to. It makes it hard when shaping around the edges.If you have one of those dispensers for this kind of tape it might not be bad for you but I do not but just because I had difficulty with it with it doesn’t mean you will. This is just a personal preference.

Easy to use paper tape. Good quality and useful.

Delivery was quick. The product is well made and easy to apply. It makes no mess, dries fast and bonds well to the cardboard boxes. Will buy again.

I read the descriptions but still did not realize how much tape I was getting.. this will do me a life time lol..

I bought this for stretching watercolour paper. Seems to workwell. My First attempt had about 70 percentsuccess rate at holding the small sheets of watercolour paper without staples or tacks. I haven't stretched paper for a few years and rushed the process so the fact that the tape was effective at all speaks to its potential in the studio. Happy to keep working with it.

The tape served it's purpose, but the paper is thinner than what we have purchased previously.
