I have been using these two strainers for my everyday cooking and I can say that I love them! Both of them pretty much covered every possible usage that I might encounter. I used them to wash vege, fruit, mushrooms, strain soba and spaghetti.Now it's about one month since I bought them, still holding up pretty nicely. Didn't discolor or anything. I will update this comment if anything comes up

They are strainers (They have holes) and they do collapse but they have no feet on the bottom at all! The bottom they call a "foot" is just a circle of silicon. It sits perfectly flat and traps liquid unless I stick it directly into my sink drain hole. Ridiculous design. Not worth the return postage fee. Throwing them out.

These colander are wonderful! The collapsible feature is terrific for storage. I have been using them every day since I received them. Straining hot pasta, rinsing fruits and vegetables. I would highly recommend these for yourself and as gifts for others.

i had to find a strainer to use when making yogurt. the problem was, what size container would i need to strain the yogurt and how much space would the whey use? the perfect solution was to buy this set which will fit most bowl sizes. i lined with a paper coffee filter and then let the yogurt strain for greek yogurt. silicone is the best and these fold up and out of the away easily. it was the ideal solution for several problems just in one instance!

They're really nice, stylish and sleek. Something that was a downside is that they cannot handle boiling water which is definitely what I use my colander for most is straining boiling pasta or vegetables so if they could be produced in a way that can be used to strain boiling water then i think they'd be a perfect 5 stars. I like that it comes in a pack of 2 with different sizes. It works for various draining needs. I do believe the handles could be a little larger or easier to grasp. All around solid product!

I waited awhile to review so it could be accurate. These arrived fast and are exactly what I wanted. Easy to fold up and store, wash in the dishwasher, and use. Love the small one for washing fruits and veggies and the large one for draining pastas and more. Exactly what I needed.

Our old colanders take up too much space and space is always needed, so I bought this collasible ones to replace them with. These new ones are attractive, durable, and collaspe easily. Now I have more room in our cupboards. Two sizes, great price. Highly recommended.

So far I'm happy with these! I particularly like that I can set the strainer on top of the pot after draining the water. The space-saving design is also a particularly helpful feature for those of us with tiny kitchens.
