This double socket extension is exactly what I was looking for as I had a double wall socket at one side of the double bed in our spare room so I could only use the one bedside lamp nearest to the socket. This extension is perfect, with it being behind the head of the bed I really needed something that would be safe as I don’t see it very often. This product comes with surge protection which puts my mind at ease & let’s me use both bedside lamps. It’s a great product & excellent value for money. I would definitely recommend it.

I have many of this brand's surge protected extension cables - without exception they are bland, matte and boring, heavy and unremarkable - all the things you want in an extension lead really; unobtrusive and safe to leave unattended.The actual cable is heavy duty and does not heat up, at least with my applications for them.Makes it a pain to coil up and velcro tie when not in use, but reassuring.Well worth buying.Nice to have a cable I can rely on not to need watching in use.Like most older flats I lack mains sockets so rely on extensions.Trailer sockets I only ever use as needed, exceptions being electronics with 1ish amp rated plugs - I have several permanent installations, all individual switches and I unplug at night.Yes I am obsessive about doing the sums on electricals, but better that than have a fire!
