I promise you, this actually works, and I wish I had known about it at the beginning of the heat wave. This is a simple, very convenient and certainly effective way to keep cool. It's actually more like a scarf in shape than a towel, but that's immaterial . My daughter uses wet muslin squares applied to the children's backs at bedtime during the really hot spells, but this towel is one step up from that, especially as the children would be able to recharge the towels by shaking, thereby saving their parents having to troll up and downstairs to run them (the towels) under a cold tap.I can now hoover the house on a hot day without ending up with frizzed hair and a very unattractive boiled-face look - just by wearing a damp scarf round my neck. Also, I've tried the towel draped over my feet at night with the duvet folded back (towel placed on a chillow pad, which protects the bed from the wet, as well as the chillow itself being cooled by the towel), over my shins while watching TV, and folded, on my forehead if a headache threatens. This clever strip of fabric has given cooling relief in every situation. I love the fact that the towel's coolness is rechargeable with a firm shake or by swinging it around your head - which looks a bit mad but is actually the more preferred method as you don't get misted in the face. I have also used it, refrigerated, to relieve the pain in my hand after I took a tumble; to good effect, as the bruising and swelling have been minimal and the pain really not as bad as I'd feared.I think the price of this item is very fair for its versatility and effectiveness, and I expect easily to find more uses for it in the future. I think every home should have one, although I'm sorry to say they will have to buy their own!

I used this towel initially on a 14 mile hike in 30 degree centigrade heat and wore it around my neck as a cooling towel. It stopped me from sweating and therefore kept away the midges and other biting insects. As the towel began to dry one quick shake and the cool moisture was restored. Absolutely brilliant and was still working perfectly after 4 hrs. Since then I have taken it to the gym and used it dry outside to mop away sweat finding it to be far more effective that anything else I have used. The towel is compact, light and highly portable and I wouldn’t be without it. My only wish is that I had bought one sooner.

This works well when prepared properly. A week at Florida theme parks with 85-95F was much more enjoyable using this towel. Wet it, shake it, and drape it to stay cool for 3-4 hours. Refresh it with water to keep using it. For added comfort, hold it in front of an air conditioner outflow vent! Being lightweight, it wasn't a noticeable neck garment. Being bright green, it was noticed! Be sure to wash and rinse it, and hang to dry thoroughly at the end of each day to keep it working properly and smelling fresh. We used a couple of drops of hotel shampoo to clean it. It's easy to hand wash and dries nicely when hung on hanger.Only downside is the container. The top threads fussily and took several tries to close. When it went on slightly crooked, it was impossible to remove. Had to cut the container to retrieve the towel, but a small, resealable plastic baggie worked well and made it pocket size since the towel may easily be folded and compressed.The four-star rating is because of the container top being difficult to use.

I had never heard of these towels but after looking at the reviews decided I would give one a try. This product is amazing and it WORKS. I suffer terribly with anything approaching warm summer temperatures but since my towel arrived I have barely stopped using it. So simple and effective, I am now walking round with a towel round my neck doing household chores, weeding, housework and I'm not bothered by the 30 degree plus temperatures. Just follow the instructions to refresh the cooling effect and it's ready to do its job again. My normally skeptical husband was so impressed that I've bought him one in a different colour. Great product and that's my summer overheating problems sorted.

Great buy, especially in this hot weather. I bought this one for a friend, he was very happy with it. He struggles badly with the heat so he was very appreciative of this. I bought another for my shih tzu. He isn’t keen on water and tends to run away from wet towels but he loves this. I wet it, squeeze out the water and drape it over him and he can sit for a little while outside in the hot weather.It did feel ‘wetter’ than I had expected it to but it does have a very cooling affect and lasts a while before you need to wet it again. This is perfect for anyone spending long periods of time in the sunshine especially. Great for festivals, outdoor workers and our furry friends who are unable to sweat like the rest of us! Sooo important to keep them cool no matter what.I didn’t want to risk one of the cheaper brands as this one is much more reputable and in my opinion, worth the money.

I bought this for my Mum who has to spend the next few weeks with her Mum in a town in Pakistan which has unpredictable daily power cuts for hours on end. So no fans or aircon in more than 45degrees C heat. She is a very critical customer so I will wait for her review. The towel and container were small & light so easy to pack. And seemed of good quality.

I would fully recommend this product first with the efficiency from order to delivery. It’s well made and very easy to store in fridge Fits well in pack back or bag and does not draw attention from others if just carrying in hand. The towel it’s self is a lovely bright happy feeling good dark pink it’s a fantastic length that can wrap right round shoulders or head or even waist. It’s a very versatile product and definitely cooks you down. Great for draping over chair when sitting in hot garden. All in all I am extremely happy with this product and would fully recommend it.
