I like Rofis products this my 3rd torch I purchased from the manufacturer. My purchase was last summer and I did use the torch quite a bit since. Recently the magnetic charger stopped charging the torch. I contacted the seller who asked further details about the issue. It turned out that I had an older generation of the R3 but the seller replaced my order without any more question. On the top I also received an 18650 battery charger so the older "faulty" torch which wasn't charging from the cable would still be usable. Customer service and product support 5 star.

Excellent little torch. I bought this for work because of the magnetic base and the swivelling head. Perfect for hands free wiring work/fault finding in electrical cabinets and takes up very little room.I keep it on the lowest of the three brightness modes but switching to medium/high or double clicking to turbo is pretty easy. Don't know if I'll ever need the SOS or the brain hurting strobe but the moon glow option could be handy.Comes with a head strap that I've yet to use but feels like it would work ok. The magnetic charging system could be a flaw. So far it's worked well. Just one occasion where it needed a little flick to seat correctly. However, the lead is bespoke and I can't see an alternative charging method if you break it. Maybe a separate charger or spare lead will be a future purchase.The head swivel is good but I do wonder how many times it can be used before starting to go slack. No sign of that so far.LATER EDITA year later and the swivel head HAS slackened off a bit. Not to a 'tape up and forget' point but another year would probably see it there.The colour wore off the button.The biggest problem is that it stopped charging via the supplied lead so I bought a separate charger. Then it would randomly stop working so I would need to take the battery out to reset it. Now I have to do this several times to get it working. No idea if it's the torch or the supplied battery but I'm not convinced that this is a real workmans/outdoor torch any more. I may try a new battery because throwing a seventy quid torch in the bin is quite painful.

This is an excellent torch. I've had it for about a month now but use it so much. The magnetic base is so handy in conjunction with the swivel angled top you can use it to light up anything. I also love that it is rechargable so don't need to worry about but new batteries. I was so impressed I got more for Christmas presents!

Lanyard was a big disappointment
