They're not kidding about the sizes.
For starters, let me say I LOVE this skirt. It's a bit longer than I'd prefer; I'm 5'5" but I have short legs. It comes midway down my calves. At first I thought I'd hem it up to just below knee-length but after wearing it to work all day I've decided I like it just as it is. The skirt is a thick, fuzzy material. The product description says it's a wool-blend, but it feels more like acrylic to me. There's no fiber content tag in the garment. There's a nice knee-length lining inside the skirt. The generous pockets are trimmed with pleather. They are not kidding around with that size chart, though. I weigh 150 lbs and normally wear a 10/12, so I bought the largest size. The skirt has an elastic back, but there's not a whole lot of give to it. If it weren't for the fact that it also has a side zipper, I wouldn't have been able to get it over my butt! This is a lovely warm skirt and I plan to pretty much live in it this winter.

Nice, warm winter skirt
I think this skirt is very comfortable and warm. Perfect for winter-time. I love the pockets - deep enough to carry a wallet, keys, pen, ect. I'm 5'1, 118 lbs and have a 27 inch waist, so I got the large based on many reviews that recommended sizing up. The large fits fine, but I'm sure I could've gotten by with a medium. And being on the short side, the skirt skims just above the tops of my ankles, but that's okay with me since I'll be wearing this skirt during colder months.A couple cons: the zipper won't zip all the way - it gets stuck on the fur/wool when it gets to the waistline where the fur is on both the inside and outside of the skirt, so I have to close it with a safety pin. I don't feel like it's noticeable when I cinch it closed with the pin, so it's not a huge deal, but still worth mentioning. I also don't particularly care for the petticoat that's sewn underneath it. I never wear petticoats, so it kind of makes me feel like I'm playing dress up when I wear this skirt . . .All in all, though, this a really nice skirt. I'd recommend it to anyone whose looking for some dressier clothes that they can comfortably wear during Winter.

*Dinner, church, soiree, and interview skirt*
First, I have to say that this skirt exceeded my expectations. I got both green and red and I am delighted to have such a product. It is very well made. I cannot wait to wear it to dinners, parties, church and interviews. I am 5' 7"... my waist is 29". ...And hips is approx 43". The L (size 6) fits perfect.BEWARE: Do not try to put this skirt on from feet up (especially if you have a big behind). Put the skirt on from over your head and zip up. I find that this is the case with all my high waisted skirts. I cannot expect to try and pass it over my butt then say it doesn't fit. It is a flare skirt and it falls nicely. Thick skirt with smooth lining.Be gentle with the zipper. It looks expensive. Liked it so much that I ordered a black. I hope the black is a beautiful true black or else I'd have to return that one.I do not like dingy looking blacks.Unfortunately, I did not take pics, because I tried it on before work and had little time, but my measurements were quite accurate from the waist measurement in the chart. The reviews for measurements were a bit mixed. Therefore, pay close attention to waist sizing in the chart, which is the last image for this skirt The chart says my size 6..aka L, is a 72cm waist =28.346 inches. I am a 29" waist. Tiny bit off but.. Perfect still! There is a little stretch detail in the back, which works well. But, you do not want to get too small size and use up the stretch in the the back; that will subtract from the beautiful stretch detail.Be gentle with the zipper. If you are looking for a beautiful highwaisted fit, measure your true waist, not around your abdomen. Your waist is right where your rib cage ends.Good luck. Get them before they go! Buy the right size and you won't be disappointed.

Wonderful winter skirt!
Wonderful weight and quality! It keeps me toasty warm even when I'm out in 30-40 degree weather! (With leggings and boots of course!) The elastic at the back is great for getting a good comfortable fit and I absolutely love the adorable pockets! - I did notice a little bit damage to the smoothness of the fabric when I ironed it, so make sure you iron with the nap, I think that was my mistake. The nap is very slight, but it's there!Sizing was good. I am 120lbs, 27" waist and 37" hip. I ordered size 4/Small and it fits just fine. One thing to be aware of: The zipper is a little too short, so getting the skirt over the hips was a bit of a squeeze, but once it was pulled up and zipped the fit was perfect for my curvy shape. I'm 5.5' tall and the bottom edge of the skirt hits below my calves, about 6" above my ankles.Overall I'm very happy with this purchase!

though probably would have been better off going a size smaller
Made of thick and heavy material, this is a skirt for the fall and winter. I'm 5'3" with a 26.5-inch waistline. I got the size 4, though probably would have been better off going a size smaller. This is quite loose around the waist; combine this with the fact that the hem almost touches my ankles, and I look like a little girl in her mother's skirt! That said, I like how warm and comfy this skirt is so, so I'll probably keep it. It arrived vacuum sealed, so you'll have to iron it before you can wear it.

in love
I'm 5'6 and 120 pounds. I ordered a small and it fits perfect. It is so thick and warm and soft and perfect for winter here in the rocky mountains. I wear it with tall boots and a turtle neck and it is so cute!! Material is wool, but it isn't itchy at all. It is very high quality. The pockets are lined with imitation leather and I think it gives it a nice touch. my new winter favorite!!!

Warm, perfect midi length
This skirt is extremely warm, cute, and is a great midi length! For reference, I'm 5'3 and it hit me mid-calf. It also has a faux leather lining/detailing around the pocket that I didn't notice when I initially ordered it. Sadly, I returned it since it was a bit large for me. I'm usually a size 8 in pants/skirts but I have a smaller waist and bigger hips, so I think that's why the sizing was off for me.

OK
