Bonnard: 0000 (Colour Library) Paperback – 12 Aug. 1998

This book is about Bonnard and the way he thought creating his own realism. He painted from his own history or knowledge, what he knew and often by memory. He followed his own path and stuck to it. We can't paint like anyone else because we have not the same eyes, vision or thought but this book is very revealing into all these things.The seller was punctual and the book was in good condition. Can't remember if it had been used or not but it was perfect.

These are well produced basic guides and the colour plates, which are large, seem true to colour. They are a good overview for anyone starting out, or as a basic reference on the style of each artist. Extensive series, too.

An excellent book with high quality photographs. A readable biography followed by helpful reviews of each of the paintings. Good value for money. I'm glad I bought it.
