Bought for the dog backpack that i love. This worked so much better than taking a bowl or cup to pour water into. Easy to use, no mess, unless your pup slops water like mine does! Great for trips, hiking or just walking.

Exactly what we needed for our dog

For the most part, it fit our needs. My dog is a grandmaster at not finishing her water or wanting any after asking for it! So we would waste water each time, which isn’t a problem for the nearby vegetation. However, we’d eventually run out of water before the hike or adventure ended. This water bottle solved the problem bc it sucks the water back into the bottle. The downsides is that when washing the bottle I noticed that the spring that holds the straw inside was getting rusty so I took it out. Unfortunately that sometimes means the straw will pop out, which disables the ability to squeeze the water out & in. I managed to deal with that for the past few months but today the top (where the water sits) completely fell off. It looks like the plastic pieces that connected the ‘cup’ and the ‘open’ & ‘close’ mechanism broke off. I found plastic pieces swimming in the water inside the bottle. Wish it would’ve lasted a full year!
