It took me about 30 minutes and playing with it and I finally got it done, the quality is good for the price $ now I can use it for live stream and DJ gigs on the go.

The only reason this gets 3 stars overall is because of the really low price. It gets the job done and that's great.However, there are some issues with this mic arm. The tightening mechanisms are pretty weak so you have to really crank on it if you have a mic with any kind of weight. It also moves a lot. I can get it to where it will sit steady in one spot but if I adjust how I sit in my chair and need to move the mic slightly, it's a pain to readjust because there's so much slack to the mount.I'd recommend spending a few more bucks to buy something a little better built.

This is the best inexpensive option I’ve ever come across for a microphone boom. It is much better than I expected and as good as I hoped it would be. If you are trying to get quality on a budget I would absolutely recommend this over any other option. I have had a 2lb Behringer dynamic microphone on mine for several weeks now and it has not sagged even a centimeter. This microphone is pretty heavy relative to most microphones I’ve had. Range of motion is solid and I have not been concerned about the mount snapping at all.Edit: one year later and still works perfectly!

The description claims it will come with some Velcro straps for cable management, it did not for me (you might be different), I have some straps, so I will not be returning. Other than that I only have good things to say about this [To be honest though, I have never owned a boom-arm before, so for all I know this is as bad as it COULD get, but since it works for my Tonor mic and feels good, I will give this a favorable review) I would suggest this to friends, I would buy again IF I need a new one. I deducted 2 stars for lying about the contents, everything other than the Velcro straps was included.

I ordered this recently to mount onto a weird desk. It is the type that has a metal cross bar that goes the whole way around the underside of the desk making it just over 2" thick. This makes most c clamps unusable as they can't clear it but this one worked great. The c clamp does indeed get to around 2.5" for the opening and fits very snugly given that it has more surface area on the top to grab on. It includes 2 adapters for your microphone and Velcro straps for cable management.The only issue I had is the part that you used to connect the microphone to the arm was missing so I couldn't actually use it for the intended purpose. Thankfully the seller came through and shipped me a replacement immediately without hassle. It arrived quickly via Amazon, and it worked perfectly.

It's nice and sturdy. It holds my at2020 sideways without drooping. It comes with the screw adapter and a couple really nice velcro straps. I really like that the mount actually sits on the table like the rode psa and they used the clamp as a makeshift headphone hook.
