Solid Piece of Gear...
This is of the best made products I have ever owned. It is very well made, and it is solid...not even close to being flimsy.Make sure you read the description, and make sure you visit their website and view their video on this wonderful tool.Pros: Everything about it.Cons: Me...I added a few pictures...One shows you what it looks like with the razor blade out, 2 to show the lighter size and how it fits, 2 to show you that wrapping 200 feet around this product doesn't not look pretty at all. Its now a big fat paracord bomb. Why did I do this you might be asking yourself, because I wanted to know what it looked like when you wrapped 200 instead of 100 feet of paracord around it. So now that you know, you don't have to do it yourself. Also, don't forget to wrap it tight when wrapping...makes a huge difference.and use 550 cord, not 750 cord...and difference that actually matters.don't forget to watch the video...Hope this helps a little.

Exactly what you searched for
Are you looking for a simple tool that handles 50-75' of paracord with a convenient cutter and micro lighter holder all in one? LOOK NO MORE. Pay the price once and be done forever. Real talk: if you searched for this particular item you also have an entire bag (or two) of stuff you only intend to use in a bad situation. Go bag, bugout bag, everyday possibles pouch - call it what you want but that's why you are here. Just put it in the cart and don't worry about the price because you've already decided you want to be prepared. Use it once in a pinch and you won't even care what the checkout price was. Honestly you may even be using some rewards points from your credit card because your wife is hounding you every time you buy another thing for your bag.

Well-designed
I had to write a review on this product because I love it so much. Great at organizing any extra cordage. This product is really designed for para cord but can really fit anything. Are use it to hold 50 yards of paracord when backpacking and hanging food. I really like that it has a built-in cutter and storage for later if you do happen to cut your cordage. If this review was helpful please let me know by clicking the “Helpful” button below the review.

Unnecessary for camping and hiking
The spool tool seemed like a good idea at the time but it is an unnecessary accessory. If you carry a knife and lighter then that is all you need to cut and seal paracord. As far as camping and survival tools go, I cannot recommend this. I will give the product two stars because it is durable and might have a use other than camping and hiking.

... for the razor on the assumption that they are easy to loose
Extremely well thought out right down to the extra stainless mounting screw for the razor on the assumption that they are easy to loose. I gave this one to my dad who has an excess of random lengths of 550 cord in his garage. This qualifies as one of the best gifts I ever gave him (I included a mini-bic lighter so it was complete). I wrapped a length of 550 on it and it has already saved ME time. Instead of searching for the right length of cord and then looking for a lighter to burn the edges, we just spooled some off the spool tool and burned the ends with the attached lighter. He's also been showing people all of the features so I'm pretty sure I done good on this one. The one thing that I would have doe differntly in this case is purchased a brighter color. I'm one day into this gift and I'd already pay double.

Good idea, but winds up large and bulky - best for Bug Out Bag or Survivor Kit, rather than hiking, backpacking. or trekking
Actual unit is surprisingly large, although the description or Q&A response give the right size. Hard to visualize. As advertised, good for Bug Out Bag or Survival Kit, too large even with thinner Dyneema cord or guy line cord to backpack or trek with.Likely better with 50' to 75' of standard diameter paracord rather than a full 100', especially if you want to spool Titan's SurvivorCord.Having the mini BIC is a good idea, but check the gas level occasionally over the years to be sure you have enough fuel.Cutter works VERY well on standard paracord - just draw it through and it zips apart. If they had one of these down-sized for guy-line cordage (1.5mm to 2.2mm) I'd LOVE IT.

Tough and versatile tool, tip clamp slots too small for 5/32" Mil Spec Fish & Fire Paracord
The color, material, durability, weight, of this multi-tool are great. The lighter slot and razor and housing are all fine. It will hold 100' of 5/32" Diameter paracord, however, none of the various sized 8 notch end/tip holders will allow a 550 lb test 5/32" paracord to snap in ( the notches used for burning the tips, or to secure the end of the chord in place.) If you have smaller thickness paracord, you should be fine, though, on down to wrapping micro chord around it. Instead, I tied a basic knot with the end of the 550 chord in the carabiner / attaching / hanging hole, and that is how I secure my chord end to it. A little disappointed, as I was looking forward to those pinch holes holding in the cord, but you can still use the spool. Also be aware that a fully-wrapped 100' feels like a small Nerf Football size in your hand (size wise), and just fills the available space (still holds all 100').

It seemed like it'd be longer than it is
It seemed like it'd be longer than it is, so the ball of cord gets pretty thick in the middle with just 50' of 550 cord on this. It's still handy to have a spool that'll stop it from tangling and having the cutter built in will undoubtedly be useful.I haven't gone looking for a lighter to fit in the holder since I keep a zippo in most of my outdoor/emergency kits. Also it takes some looking to find a disposable lighter for sale in CA these days (compared to the 80's/90's when they were practically everywhere).
