When I order I saw the picture it had two items so I assumed one pack meant you get what you see. NO you get one item so make sure you read the small print. Item works good with one but so much better with 2.

I had my doubts about this, but it works pretty good. I whacked it accidentally a few times, and it help up. The only thing is pressure treated wood it a pretty tight fit

To begin with I'm far from a carpenter I'm a diy homeowner with an understanding of construction I had priced a back yard shed and the numbers are astronomical so I started pricing timber and found with the nails, studs ,t111 sheathing, and a new speed square and 3-1 framing tool were considerably cheaper than store bought pre cut kit.Alli did was cut all my wall studs to size on all sides the shed was 16x8x8 so I could buy all dimensional lumber as to have avoid excess cutting then laid it all out on the 1" plywood deck now here's the best part there are slots in this 100% aluminum spacer tool at 12" 14" 16" it holds the stud in a perfect 90° from the top or bottom plate with plenty of room to get my cordless nail gun to nail two stud frames in rapid succession now a pro carpenter may or may not like these but I couldn't see why making a job easier and more efficiently would make anyone unhappy . Anyway once the studs are laid out you just space two studs shoot and move you can really make good time knowing it's a perfect 16" on center wall stud it's corrosion resistant 100% aluminum with a cary grab handle in the middle for placement and carrying the 12",14",16" positions are engraved in the top so it won't wear off during use like paint I did however use a black enamel paint pen to accent the engraving cause my eyes aren't what they use to be ! This 3-1 framing tool is well thought out heavy duty corrosion resistance accurate tool that every diy and pro could find a place in the gang box for yup Im loving this new carpentry weapon of mine . It's built like a tank I could see me losing it before it would ever wear out or break chances are my neighbor will borrow it and forget to return it before I ever lose or break it .Yes I would recommend this framing 3-1 tool to any pro or diy laying out walls it just nice to use simple efficient design.Hope this helps anyone interested in this tool.
