Ingenious design
I used this mask for two children when they were 4 years old. It’s very easy to use and they felt very comfortable in it. The snorkel ball valve keeps water out of the mask and the purge valve gets rid of any leaked water in the bottom layer of the mask. It is a valuable tool in teaching kids to swim, as it allows them to position themselves properly in the water and dog-paddle without worrying about breathing. Both my kids were accustomed to going underwater with swim goggles when they first used the mask.Highly recommend!

Great product!
Just spent a week in Mexico at a resort using this multiple times a day in the pool and ocean. Overall very great product.Slight fogging but easy to apply biodegradable de-fogging product and worked great. A bit hard to drain and reset on child face. But you get the hang of it and becomes easy. Not amazing to dive with; better on the surface. So if your little person wants to dive down 2+ feet it really suctions tightly due to pressure. Dry snorkel worked great. My 2.5 year old wouldn’t take it off. Loved every minute of it. Sizing was perfect for a tall bigger toddler boy. Great for a surface floating beginner.

Easy to use and fun
So far so good. My little guy has been swimming in this mask for 40 minutes straight. Fits well, color is accurate. Good product so far.

Kids love it, but if you lose the tiny diaphragms it will leak
Updated: the major problem with these masks is that the tiny silicone diaphragms (one near each cheek area, and one near the mouth) are not well secured and can slip out when you rinse the mask. Since they're clear, you probably won't even notice, but your kids definitely will when when the mouth/nose area slowly fills with water the next time they submerge the snorkel. I think this explains the reviews complaining about leaks. I really think the manufacturer ought to make the retention knobs on the diaphragms larger, tint them day-glo orange or something like that, and include a spare set with each mask, as it's the replacement part you're 100% going to need.Original review: I bought a size XS for our 6-year-old and S-M for our 9-year-old; both fit well and have some room for growth. The kids took to it right away, and these seem much more comfortable and easier to get the hang of than a traditional mask and snorkel.Safety note: there are a lot of similar products on the market, and not all manufacturers are equally conscientious about keeping the exhaled air from mixing with the new fresh air, which over time could lead to CO2 buildup inside the mask and dizziness or other symptoms. This mask uses a three-channel snorkel (some of the cheaper products have only a single tube) and dedicated exhaled-air channels around the edge of the mask. Of note, those channels are open on one side, relying on the silicone around the edge of the mask to complete the seal, and their cross-sectional area is much smaller than that of the exhaust tubes in the snorkel. I inspected it pretty carefully and am convinced that it's safe for extended use, although I'd really like to see manufacturers use larger internal exhaled-air channels (so there's less backpressure), surround them completely with rigid plastic (although I suppose that makes the molding process more complicated), and put the inlet port (top of the center channel of the snorkel tube) at least an inch or so higher than the exhaust ports to minimize recycling of the exhaled air. Still, this mask works pretty well, and looks to be at least as well engineered as anything else in this price range.

Great for snorkeling!
We went on a cruise and had a couple excursions planned with snorkeling. I was worried about my kid drowning and thought this looked promising. Worked great no issues with water intake. It was comfortable and didn’t leave those harsh lines most face goggles cause. He was also sunburnt and not having it rub on his face was a plus.

GREAT SNORKEL FOR KIDS
I bought the X-Small for my grandsons (3 & 5 years old). The boys love the masks and they work great. The masks seal well to their faces and allows them to put their faces in the water. The 3 yo can “swim” across the pool without his puddle jumper as he is able to breath through the snorkel with his face in the water—the snorkel provides a little bit of bouancy. The 5 yo can “swim” around the perimeter of the pool with the mask. I am pleasantly surprised how well the masks fit & seal. The kids are very comfortable wearing the masks—they do need an adult to put them on.

Short lived
My son used this in the pool many times and loved it. But when we brought it to Hawaii and tried to use it for snorkeling at the beach, it got a little sandy. The plastic circle that covers the air vent got twisted and broke. So I would say stick to using it in the pool!
