The award-winning, much-loved crime drama Professor T starring Ben Miller, Frances de la Tour and Juliet Stevenson is back for a third season. Actor: Ben Miller, Juliet Aubrey, Lee Ross, Terence Maynard, Frances De La Tour, Douglas Reith, Andy Gathergood, Emma Naomi, Jamie Maclachlan, Chris Ryman, Barney White, Dawit Dekoning, Leon Harrop, Phil Mckee, Rupert Turnbull, Ossian Luke, Jack Ashton, Sarah Wo. Author: Stephen. Director: Maarten Moerkerke. Producer: Alison Kee. Review: A delightful detective series - Professor T quickly became one of our favorite detective series. Ben Miller does a fantastic job portraying Professor Jasper Tempest, an exceptionally intelligent but wonderfully quirky criminologist who assists the police in solving complex crimes. Professor T is not your typical detective. His OCD, unusual personality, and complicated relationship with his overbearing mother make him both fascinating and entertaining to watch. Despite his eccentricities, he is kind-hearted, brilliant, and often sees clues and connections that everyone else misses. The series strikes a great balance between intriguing mysteries, humor, and character development. The cases are clever, the supporting cast is excellent, and there are plenty of moments that are both touching and funny. If you enjoy intelligent crime dramas with unique characters and well-written mysteries, Professor T is well worth watching. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend it. Review: So so glad this series continues - Though I am a perfectionist, I would change a thing in this masterpiece creation. The writing, acting, directing, Ben Miller, the supporting cast, the stories, everything is just amazing. And from episode to episode and season to season it not only maintain the quality, but gets more and more heart-warming and touching, in a good way. At the moment I cannot think of a show I have enjoyed more.

Season 3 is EXCELLENT.
Of the 4 seasons of Professor T, this is by far the best. Acting is top-flight, each episode moves the overall storyline quickly along, not dragging it out for eons. Jasper feels subconsiously that he doesn't need all of his crutches and by the last episode actually removes his gloves, only to fall back and put them on again at the tragic conclusion of Series 3.

Great series
An enjoyable series. Quirky characters. Well acted, written and produced. A breath of fresh air among the majority of slop series out there. I look forward to more seasons of this.

'Professor T' Continues To Create Good Storytelling
When the BBC television show 'Professor T' first aired on the local PBS station, I was not sure I could adapt to the quirky and unusual style of storytelling. Boy was I wrong. In its third series, 'Professor T' continues to weave complex and yet simple storylines that bring great pleasure to its viewers. The ensemble cast is top notch, along with solid production values and interesting interior set designs. My only complaint is that I wish the writers and producers created / filmed more episodes. This DVD contains only 6 episodes, which seems very stingy in comparison to U.S. television productions. Then again, the 6 episodes of 'Professor T' are far superior to 20+ episodes of subpar U.S. dramatic shows. This DVD is worthy of your time, financial investment and will compliment your home DVD collection.

Love it, Ben Miller and supporting cast.
I started watching Professor T because I liked Ben Miller in Death in Paradise. He has not disappointed. I have been binge watching this past week. I will go into withdrawal after I've watched the end of Season 4. Oh dear! Besides Ben Miller, I really enjoy his mother and secretary's screen time. The dean and Kafka the dog are good too. I've never taken a liking to Lisa Donkers, but I see she leaves at the end of Season 3. The music is a bit annoying, not my type, but one cannot have it all. Overall, an enjoyable series.

Not as charming as seasons 1 & 2 but still enjoyable
So far, season 3 is a little darker and more serious than the first two. I still enjoy the series very much but hope it gets back to the lighter, charming characters and storylines that are easier to digest.

Absorbing
As good as the Belgian original is,this is equally as good. There is different emphasis in the main characters. For instance,I prefer the quieter Dan in the Belgian. Christine is more cerebral and inwardly balanced in the Belgian. But these are quibbles of an enthusiastic fan of both series. Brilliant!

Missing DVD
Excellent series however I received 2 copies of disk 2 and no disk 1. Having read other reviews this seems to be an ongoing problem that is not being fixed.
