Matcha is so good for you, but taste is sometimes not the best. This brand mixes well in hot water, then I add some cream, honey and then whip it. Yummy

This is a plain matcha but is not bitter. It mixes well. I use it in my green drink and shake it up in my bottle with cool water. Mixes fine and adds another level of nutrition to my morning power drink. High quality with wonderful green color.

I don't have much experience with matcha. I have made it a few times using other brands. I mixed 1 tsp powder to 2 TB water (I forgot to sift it) with a whisk. I used the frother from my espresso machine to heat & froth some milk. I mixed the sugar with the milk and added the matcha. It did not have a bitter taste like a couple of others I tried. It tasted good enough to make again!

I've had matcha drinks from local boba shops and from the coffee chains, but I have never tried using it in straight powder form at home. Admittedly, when I ordered this I wasn't sure how I was supposed to use it. Lucky for me (and everyone else), there was a recipe included in the package, as well as printed on the back of the pouch that the matcha came in. When I opened the pouch, the matcha had a nice 'grassy' smell. The only other way that I can describe it would be "clean". I have used processed matcha that came in tea bags before that really smelled like hay, seriously, but THIS product is a high quality powder with a nice clean green grassy aroma. I did the recipe as listed and OHHHH wow... what I ended up with was a drink that tasted SO good! The next morning, I added the same mixture into a smoothie with some banana and almond milk, and it was so tasty! I will definitely be a repeat customer for this product!Oh, and inside of the package there was a little origami swan - I thought that was a really nice touch. I have him sitting on my desk at work.

This good-quality matcha powder has a fresh fragrance and taste as well as a fresh, spring-green color. It brews up piquant, but not bitter. It's fine for lattes and baking or an enjoyable, everyday cup of tea, not quite tea ceremony quality, but who does tea ceremony every day? The powder dissolves quickly and completely. It arrived in a sturdy, foil-lined packet, in good condition.
