Great for research
When I purchased this book I was looking for historical information to use in my study of my own family history from a first person point of view. I was fully aware that this is a digital translation and there would be errors and rough spots. Great for research. I felt the description of the work was accurate, delivery was timely and it fully met my needs.

Exceptional first-person account of coming to America
This little journal provides an astonishing first-person account of the journey to America in the pre-revolutionary era. Mittelberger shows us what it was like for our ancestors to travel aboard ships, packed like sardines in the same way that slaves from Africa were transported, with virtually no room to move or lie down. This is must reading for anyone who has German or Scottish ancestry, and it is a wonderful resource. My thanks to the publisher.

It is a great example for those wanting to know what their ancestors ...
I had purchased this book previously for someone else and wanted my own copy. It is a great example for those wanting to know what their ancestors endured on their trip to the New World.
