Amazing laptop marred by terrible upgradability
Brought this laptop in July Sale for 1.9LThe metal finish, RGB on the logo, keyboard, logo on the palm rest and Infinity mirror on the exhaust is a sight to behold. Amazingly premium. The device with i9 14900hx processor, Rtx 4070 gpu, 16gb ddr5 56000khz and 1TB gen 4 SSD is literally a beast. The initial update process for a June manufactured laptop is slow. But once you are setup and running it's a really top notch experience. AAA titles that I've played have been smooth and excellent. The show stealer is the 16 inch 1600p 500 nits display. With close to 100% DCPI3 Colours, it's a delight to play and use this laptop. The downside is the poor set of options available in the bios compared to Alienware and Lenovo; and the below average sound from the speakers. The volume and quality of these speakers are poor. The extremely terrible service from Acer is downright pathetic though. For a pro gaming laptop, upgradability is a pain. Purchased compatible 1tb ssd and additional 16gb Ram for this beast but you cannot self upgrade since there is a sticker on one of the screws which if you manually remove will void the already bad 1 year warranty. Service centres charge 1475 Rs. For this service and even then they claim will void warranty since I've sourced the parts myself. This is a first for me, since almost every other laptop manufacturer allows you to upgrade yourself without voiding warranty. As per Acer website, there are 3 service centres in Mumbai and Thane combined. After reaching the Thane one they said they have reapplied with Acer for their license and it's in the process. Redirected to a different place not listed on the website, but they didn't have engineers present and told me to come back after a week. Called the Marol (Andheri) centre where they said that the only way to upgrade is to source the parts for my model through Acer and still pay a service charge to upgrade. If i upgrade using my own sourced parts it will void warranty. Service charge for a device in warranty is unheard of for me. Overall terrible for gamers.Might as well upgrade the parts myself and void the warranty.

Gorgeous Piece of Tech
Main Box Seal was tampered with but the laptop box was sealed, so didn't bother to send it back.
