Easy to take and while I didn't see a big difference in the beginning of taking 5-MTHF,

A lot of people with the MTHFR mutation, which makes it hard for one’s body to absorb folate, report major improvements once they begin taking this supplement.This particular one I’m very impressed with. I appreciate the smaller capsules, as well as the fact that they have no taste or smell. They do seem to have a low potency to me, but I have personally noticed a bit of improvement- enough that I do want to continue taking the supplement. I do think I’m going to be looking for a more potent variety, however.

I have tried several brands of methyl-folate after it was recommended by my Dr. This brand is good but super low potency. It is only 1mg. I usually take 10 mg. This would be a good product for kids but I would get a higher dosage as an adult to see benefits, in my opinion.

On days when I take this supplement in the mid-morning I am seeing an increase in energy in the afternoon when I usually flag a little. They are quick release capsules however I don't notice any immediate spike in energy, the affect appears to come on later for me. I've had no trouble with swallowing the capsules and I'll probably keep taking these. I also like that these are produced in the USA (NY state).
