The combination provides a mature, very smooth tonal character from top to bottom, and the Thermo Aged process makes the sound louder across the entire frequency range, especially the bass and treble areas. Mahogany Soft-V Shape Neck with Ovangkol FretboardMahogany provides a solid, smooth base for the Ovangkol fretboard. An African relative of rosewood, Ovangkol shares many of rosewood's properties, including a nice range of highs and lows. It tends to perform slightly fuller in the midrange and afford a clear high-end response, not to mention it has a smooth look and feel. The 18-fret fretboard measures 643mm and is adorned with gold mother of pearl dot fretboard inlays.Ibanez Advantage Bridge PinsAdvantage pins are easier to take out and easier to put in than standard pins.
