I like how sturdy these utensils are for serving solidly frozen ice cream. I have bent many spoons over the years trying to dish out ice cream right out of the freezer. I've tried plastic scoops, non-stick scoops and quality, press the lever to release scoops.These utensils work great. They chisel into the frozen mass and offer just the right amount of leverage to get the job done in a hurry. The wooden handles feel good in my hand and they are riveted through the stainless steel.If you are a sticker for matching sets, it might bother you that the rivets are gold color on one and silver color on the other. It doesn't bother me a bit. My favorite one of the set is the spoon shaped one which has a sharper edge.
