A very sensible product for children
The general rule when buying binoculars is to ensure that the objective lens diameter (that's the one at the other end of the binoculars not the one you look through, is at least 3 times the magnification value, i.e 8x24,12x36 etc. The bigger the difference i.e. 5x in 10x50's widens the field of view meaning that objects are easier to find and that there is more light available to see the subject. I know these are 'toy binoculars, but they do seem to fulfil all of the criteria and hopefully will help little eyes focus easier and perhaps encourage kids to use them more than once!.

product great, packagin awful
I ordered this for an 8 year old, going by the age range, I thought this would be perfect for him, I was disappointed when it came with a box that looked like something from a lucky bag, and said aged 4+ on it.HOWEVER! it does come with its own case, so problem solved, box whizzed out and a more grown up looking pair of binoculars that are actually great quality and work well were given to the 8 year old, and he loves it. Please change the box, it devalues what is a great pair of binoculars.

Well made / trendy
Bought for a christmas gift. So cute, seem robus for young children and a good starting piece of kit. Well made, fairly priced. Product as stated, eye pieces soft, easy to use / focus should be ideal for bird watching and get involved / take an interest in nature. Highly recommend this product.

Sturdy
This item is intended to be a Christmas present for a 4 year old boy who is very active and likes to be outdoors. The binoculars seem just the right size for small hands and the lenses are well padded to protect the eyes. The whole item is covered with a rubber material to prevent breakage after the inevitable dropping!Well made and easy to use.Think the gift will be well received.

A fabulous gift
Binoculars arrived on time and serviceable 👍I have not seen them as they were delivered as a gift. I have been told my 5 year old niece loves them. On her first day out with them the strap broke. I would recommend a strap that when pulled hard gives way due to a clip just like lanyards for company badges have.A very good birthday present though and different to all the other presents. Also she could not wait to get out in the fresh air and run around looking at wildlife.

Robust and compact
Bought as Christmas gift for 7 yr old, look robust and comes in a small bag. I know packaging is not the most important thing and happy it’s just a small cardboard box but it’s very basic detail, doesn’t make it look as good as the item is inside and mine arrived slightly damaged at corners, as I say not important and overall pleased with purchase

Great quality but size of the binoculars could be bigger!
Great binoculars. Very sturdy for little ones. You can really see things close, pretty impressive. However the size of the binoculars are very small. Even for my 4 year old i feel they could be bigger. I feel the cost is also little steep for what they are. But they do seem very durable and i reckon they will last for years to come.
