Bought this for an outdoor shower. Works great. Easy to install easy to use. Seems to be pretty good quality. We use it every single day. I never knew it was so easy to have an outdoor shower. We haven’t used it for camping yet, but it looks like it would be good for that too. All the heat you would need and more.

This portable on-demand water heater is fantastic! It was very easy to set up and came with a variety of fittings for different needs. It took a few attempts at changing the dials to get the temperature just right for a shower - Winter setting, full propane, and higher water flow equals higher temps. I turned the water flow all the way up and let it reach about 140 degrees (according to the display on the unit) then I slowly turned it down until it reached the right temp for a shower. Once set at your desired temp it stays at that setting for the next use even after the water and propane are turned off. It would have been nice if the batteries had been included. It works well to use quick-connect hose connections for versatility. All in all, it is an excellent unit at a very reasonable price. I plan on buying another one as a gift for my son.

I’m on a job site for several months with no hot water. So this beautiful water heater has been a blessing!! I built a little out door shower and set it up. It’s very easy to hang up and use of it is even easier!! Just flip the switch on the handle and BOOM!! HOT WATER!It’s got decent pressure too.Make sure that you have the correct tools when I stalling this though.2x crescent wrenchesA drill and screwsTephlon tape, ( the one that came with suxs)Leak detection soapAnd a propane tank full of gas.This worked for me and I hope it helps you too.☮️♥️‼️UPDATE: 8/30/24 so after using this WHeater for a while, the only 2 real drawback’s I’ve had is that the temp isn’t very consistent. Sometimes too cold or hot. And that the water volume knob only goes high or low, even though there is a “middle” it’s only as I described.But all and all, still very happy with it once I worked out the kinks.

I was going to give it 3 stars if it worked at all, simply because this has to be one of the most cheaply made products ever slapped together. From the case right down to the teflon tape that's so cheap and thin it's useless and impossible to work with, this unit screams CHEAP. I mean so cheap you're afraid to come near it with a wrench. God forbid it ever falls from its mount.But, like so many others here, mine is DOA. I bought brand new D batteries, useless for anything else, for it. Got a good gas supply. Water pressure good.No lights, no ignition. Nothing.Probably just as well.Nothing that uses gas and has such poor QC is safe to use anyway.A person would be a fool to waste his money on this thing.

Installed this at my off grid cabin. Works well. Heats fast and provides a nice hot shower. A water pump is needed, but installed easily with a bit of hose. The shower has additional parts to help hook everything up. A 20lb propane bottle will last a long time with this setup. We used the shower 5-6 times and barely noticed any usage of propane.

Not bad at all, wish you had more adjustment for the temperature. You have summer and winter and you can't adjust it more than that

Couldn't use the quick connect because it wasn't complete. the unit is very good. controls are very touchy works great. shower head hose is very short but it works good

This portable water heater is awesome, it does exactly what I needed it to do. This is perfect for my backyard around my pool I have it hung up to rinse off the kids in the yard or to rinse off after going in or before going in the pool. We also take this when we go camping it comes in handy since I do not have an outdoor shower on my RV, we can use this to rinse off after the beach or lake wherever we are without using freezing cold water. It's also great for rinsing the dog after swimming or getting muddy. Super simple to put together very clear instructions doesn't leak and keeps the water nice and warm or hot depending on how you want to adjust the setting. Overall a great value for the money. I highly recommend this.
