Stunning!
Finally got to use this powder! It goes on smooth and spreads well. The color is amazing! Adds so much richness to the finished product! The bottle will last for awhile.

Great for Baking/Entertaining
This is cool stuff. You can add it to a drink to fancy it up, or dust on baked goods, or even add some color effects to some white chocolate covered pretzels. I copied off another reviewer and used a little almond extract and a brush to add shimmer to cupcakes (on dried/set frosting). Very cool!

Great Luster Dust
This luster dust has done a great job of adding sparkle to my baking endeavors. A little goes a long way, and it doesn't have any bad taste associated with it. In addition to adding some sparkle and glitz to a frosting mixture, I put a little bit of this with a tiny touch of almond extract, so I could brush gold onto dried frosting/icing, and it worked really well. Highly recommend.

Great for Decorating
This looks beautiful on icing and even strawberries or meat. It gives a nice gold (yellow) luster and does not mess up with the taste of your food.

Item is NOT black!
This is labeled as black but definitely is more of a grey/charcoal color. Useless for what I needed it for. Total waste of money.

Very interesting powder
I haven't had a chance to make something fancy to try this on yet, but I did play around with it and tasted it. The first thing you notice opening the package is that deep gold color of the powder in the vial. Once opened, I saw it was an extremely fine powder. There was no smell and I poured a little out into my hand, licked my finger, dipped it in and gave the taste test. No detectable taste. I noticed a fine film of gold on my fingertip after licking but it washed right off. Straight out of the bottle, this would be good to put into clear liquids. Once mixed, you can have a nice golden drink. For cakes and pastries, I thinputting it into a small squeeze bottle and the right technique would let you squeeze out a fine mist of powder to add a golden touch to your desert.

So cool
This luster dust is so neat and easy to use! I added to a punch bowl to give the look of a "potion". It was absolutely flavorless and added a mesmerizing effect to the drink. A little goes a super long way so start with just a tiny bit and add more if you need to.
