OTONE AUDIO Accento Portable Speaker USB, Wired

I'm absolutely amazed at the big sound that comes from this small speaker. I kid you not, it goes loud. Easily fills a room and is perfect for the garden BBQ or beach and small enough not to take up any space in your luggage for your holiday. It's cheap, it's loud and the quality of the sound? Outstanding. It's great, it even has some great bass with no harsh treble.And yet, not 5 stars.Well, no. Look, if you're gonna hook your phone up to it, that's fine but the selling point for me was the inclusion of an SD card slot. When will manufacturers understand, if it plays from a card it MUST have a shuffle function. It'll take a 32gb card, 10,000+ songs, and it can only play them in the order that you put them on the card. It doesn't have a display so you can't choose album, artist etc so shuffle should be THE only way to play. Luckily it remembers which song you were on when you turn it on and off but if you fill that big card with songs you'll be waiting months till it plays those songs beginning with letters at the back end of the alphabet.If you're a bit savvy put all your songs into a folder on your pc first and choose something other than "title" as the file order, I chose file size and at least then when I copied 1,500 songs onto the card they were in a random order.But, if that doesn't bother you, buy this. The sound volume and more importantly, sound quality, from something this size is staggering.

This speaker is actually built quite well. It is a little bit smaller than I expected. The audio quality is great it is very clear, obviously because of the size and price there will be no bass, but this thing is actually quite loud! It's about as loud as my JBL Charge 2+, albeit not as bassy (Obviously). Battery lasted me quite well but I only use it around 2-3 hours before charging again, but that is at max volume :) It's also much more portable than my other bluetooth speakers I can easily fit it in my pocket.It's risky buying portable speakers in this price range... but this one is very good and you won't be disappointed for the price.

I already own one of these which the wife has nicked. We use them for portable music down the garden with music on an SD card. This unit remembers the last track played when switched off. I own an Edifier MP211 which although it has better sound (more bass) does not remember and starts every time from the same track! So if you want better sound and bluetooth look at the Edifier, for music on SD card look at this one for a tenner. Looks like it's just gone out of production so grab a bargain if you want one.

For under a £10 I cannot believe this thing brilliant sound battery lasts for ages well made fits in your pocket just fill memory card up with all your favourite tracks and sit it down and listen I use it at work lasts for hours if I had paid £30 for this would still be happy can't praise it enough

Ok. Not very loud

Used as an external speaker for a voice app and works very well. Very pleased with it. Only down side is connection wire quite short. Very good service and prompt delivery.

Always a cheap speaker sceptic but honestly this baby is great! Perfect sound, easy hook-up, I bought another one for my mum right after getting mine!

Dead as a dodo. Can't review properly as it didn't work despite charging beforehand.
