I'm not an electrical engineer, so keep that in mind. But, while it does seem to charge, it also seems to "sorta work" and "sorta not". I don't really care for the lack of "is it done or not" that I found in this one. I'd hooked it to a couple of batteries and I couldn't tell whether or not it actually was charging or when it finished. Thinking that maybe the battery was dead, I tried it's recovery mode for the 24 hours the manual suggested, and still nothing. I don't know if I just got a defective one or not, but I didn't have any success in recovery mode and had a difficult time in telling what the charger was doing.UPDATE:The seller contacted me in a pretty reasonable amount of time and offered to get me a new unit (or a refund). I really appreciate it when sellers work to resolve their customers' concerns and problems with products, and I really wished more sellers took that initiative. As a result of getting the new battery charger, the seller's quick response and willingness to correct this problem, and the fact that this new battery charger works, I'm bumping my review from 2 stars to 4 stars. I do wish that their instructions were much better, especially in describing what the limited screen messages mean when it quickly cycles thru 3 different messages/symbols, but after a bit of trial and error and deciphering, I was able to figure it out. Thanks for the quick and productive response!

It's a decent charger/maintainer/reconditioner. I haven't had a chance to really put it through its paces since the battery I was using it on truly was completely a lost cause. Nothing was able to bring it back. But this charged up other batteries just fine and with the assortment of chemical types, you can charge almost any V or 12V battery. The only issue I see is that the cables are very thin and short. A longer power cable would be nice so I didn't have to add an extension cord for less than 6 feet from the outlet, but that's a peeve than a fault. Has a built-in fan to help keep it cool and will show you the temp as well so you can monitor it. This stays in my garage, waiting for another battery to decide it wants to go dead.

I was looking for a battery jump starter that I can have conveniently ready at home, and this item is perfect. Easy to use and started my car battery quickly when I really needed it. Great gift idea and a must to have around the house.

This E-FAST battery charger arrived defected. It won't charge no matter how long it's plugged in!! We just got it and it was broke. E-FAST should be ashamed of themselves... presenting such a flawed product!! I had to give it a star to review. I wouldn't recommend this AT ALL. Buy with much caution.

It's very lightweight, and has that cheapy feel to it, but it -is- a 10A charger for $21. I use it to keep a battery topped up in a car I move occasionally, and it does an OK job with that. I'm not really interested in any of the fancy stuff it can do, I just want it to charge, and it does.

I've found this 10A battery charger to be excellent for maintaining my car batteries when the car is parked for long periods. It effectively trickle charges the batteries, extending their lifespan. The charger is lightweight and simple to use, with just one button for operation. Cycling through the modes using this button is easy, and the charger stops automatically once the charging is complete. I haven't encountered any issues while charging my car batteries or my emergency LifePO4 battery that I like to keep fully charged. It offers great performance and functionality for its price.
