Strong sealant did temporary job .no problem.

First off - this stuff is never going to look as good as a proper silicone sealant finish done by a professional. Having said that, it does do an excellent job of sealing around the shower, say, and is very easy to apply - even to wavy or curved surfaces. The main thing is to ensure that the surfaces that you apply it to are clean, dry and don't have any flaky paint or anything like that. It's then very easy to apply this strip making sure to ensure that it is firmly pressed into both surfaces - I found a j-roller ideal for that but a dry cloth and finger pressures should do the trick too. Once done it looks tidy but clearly has a DIY vibe rather then pro. Sometimes "good enough" is good enough though and this is much cheaper than getting a pro in.

I had bought a similar product in the past, but this is far more adhesive and has stayed stuck. Brilliant a covering up yellowing sealant etc

I found this sealant strip reasonably easy to use, once I had my positioning correct, although it seems to work best when used on a straight area, not curved.I decided to use it around the edges of my bath, since a lot of the old silicone had worn away over time and it had started to look quite grubby.The main issue I had was trying to adhere the tape effectively around curves and anywhere the wall tiles surrounding the bath, were uneven.Since the item itself didn't arrive with any instructions, I checked the information on the product page and cleared the area before applying the tape, which was pretty sticky. As I pulled the tape along to affix to the areas I wanted, I gradually pulled the plastic covering off so that it would adhere as it went along and not all in one go, since I often end up with wobbly edges.It worked out pretty well, but I was unable to get the corners to fit properly. The tape itself cut easily wherever I wanted it to, but unfortunately I couldn't quite match up some of the corners and curved areas, particularly around the bath taps.I only ever use the shower over my bath rather than the bath itself, as it is quite small, but I just hope that the tape stays in place when the shower is running. It seems to have held up quite well so far and the overall effect is definitely much smarter.

It was little sticky when I took off first time, but after then it was ok to apply.I want to cover something to hide this ugly bathtub joint. It had a lot of water damage. First, I am not sure this is a right purpose for the bathtub. I know it would be better if I change whole part but aum looking for some temporal solution. Sadly some part was not sticky much but if you consider some temporal solution like me, yes why not.

Not too fiddly to install. The adhesive strip is sticky enough and hopefully any water that does seep behind doesn't cause it to come away. Looks neat even on my terribly wonky bathroom tiles.
