This set of scissors are super sharp, they cut like butter, but be careful the tip is also sharp and will cut too. they are quality made and come with a blade cover which I highly recommend you use it. You can put them in the dishwasher when you need to clean them or disinfect them. There is a choice of one pair or two to the set, well worth the money in my book, they made of stainless steel, overall length is about a little more than 8⅝". They have a nut cracker on the handle as well. The comfort-Grip handles are just that, they are comfortable in your hands to hold and when cutting hard to cut items as well. I've only had them a sort time. Got tired of the kids using my kitchen shears on everything, or worse yet, my scissors. I gave one for kids to use and tge other stays in the kitchen now. Couldn't be happier with the quality. They are solid, with enough weight that you know it durable metal. I was surprised that they are so sharp and cut with crisp lines. It doesn't chew at what you're cutting, it cuts cleanly. You can feel the quality with each cut. Wish that I bought these years ago. My kids are teenagers so I trust them with using these. I would not recommend letting younger kids use them unsupervised because they are sharp.

I am not yet sure if I like the fact that these don’t come apart like traditional kitchen shears (which seem to fall apart when you don’t want them to), or if I hate it because washing isn’t as easy. But they are sharp, quality all purpose scissors. Just not sold yet on using them on food.

These are great sharp kitchen scissors. I use kitchen/utility shears A LOT. Cutting food, cardboard, etc. I've had many different brands. Most are just not very sharp. And sometimes the handles break. Or if I use regular scissors, the hinge breaks after a few months.These are very sharp. sharp enough and smooth enough to easily cut tissue paper. Even on heavy things, they cut easily. Frankly it's a joy to use them. And inexpensive.Use care, they are sharp - not for young children.Don't know how long they will last, but they seem very sturdy. Will update this review if they break
