I’m 5’8”, 165 lbs., chest 40”, hips/tummy widest area 45”. I already own a white slip that fits me comfortably so I measured it and ordered a corresponding slip according to the size measurements that are located where you view the pictures. It’s cotton with no stretch so you want it loose. I ordered the 2X because I wanted it to glide over my hips and I figured I could alter the chest area easily. The measurements were accurate when I received it. So it was roomy and a little longer than I wanted. But being it is 100% cotton and after reading the reviews I expected it to shrink some. After washing in a netted laundry bag and drying in the dryer believe it or not it fits just the way I like it so that I don’t have to make any alterations. The measurements after washing and drying are chest 44” and hips 52”. It shrunk an inch or two in length also. However, it did come out of the washer and dryer a little wrinkled but not enough to iron it. I plan on wearing it under my dark linen dresses anyway. Perhaps if you were to iron it the measurements may expand a little more. One last thing is that the straps are placed perfectly so that they don’t fall off your shoulders. Previously I had ordered a cotton slip from Etsy that included the slip’s measurements too but the measurements were so inaccurate and off by 4” too small at the hips, and the straps were too far apart. I was glad to be able to return it. I’m so glad to find this cotton slip and if I need another in the future I won’t hesitate to buy it here again.

Looked all over to find an all cotton slip. So nice and cool under summer sundresses. straps are not convertible but who cares , so comfortable! I did buy a size up, cause I hate having to remember to skip the tumble dry. Going to order the shorter size, cause it is a wonderful product.

The only thing I found was the slip is very long and I had to hem it up so it didn't show below midi length dresses.

This is a gorgeous crisp but soft 100% Cotton fabric. The cut and length are perfect. I ordered the Beige color. It has an elegant look and feel. This is a treasured find and could be worn about the house in Spring/ Summer. Love and thank you!

Beautiful and simple; staying cool with all cotton in the hot summer sun, while adding a layer of coverage under your summer dress. I hand wash in cool water.

Soft wonderful cotton and slip. Very pleased with this and got 4, from medium to x-large because at times it didn’t have my size.
