Soundlab Microphone Bar For Two Microphones On One Stand

I bought this because the one that I got with my  Behringer C-2 Studio Condenser Microphones (Pack of 2)  wasn't long enough.I would echo other reviews that the plastic parts are poor quality (don't expect to be able to make adjustments when you've set it up, as the plastic will get damaged with repeat use) and everything is a peculiar size that's not compatible with other makes.The gold part in the middle didn't fit my mic stand, but when I took it off the bar screwed directly onto my stand. This left me with a random screw out of the top, so I just put another mic fitting on it and now I have three on my bar instead of 2 - great for one dynamic mic, and a pair of condensers. The mic fittings at either end were weird sizes with the plastic threads, so I just took them off completely, and put the ones from my old microphone bar on.Overall it's perfect for my needs, because I already had a mic stand, 3 microphone fittings, and a pair of screws from my other bar. I literally bought it for the metal bar, which for the price is fine. If you're expecting more than that, you might be disappointed.

As a concept it works but it's a bit flimsy. Having said that if your going to set it up and just leave it alone I'm sure it will be fine. The adapter bushes on the mic clips are unusable for anything else though. Personally I used it once and then bought much dearer / stronger items straight afterwards. You get what you pay for.

Very handy little adapter.Sturdy apart from the mic clip adapters that are plastic threaded units instead of the standard brass.But that really isn't a problem because musicians usually have spares floating around.Haven't used it on the drums yet but should do the trick perfectly.

Not a very good product. We are advised an all metal construction but the thread adapters are plastic, so A. They can't be screwed onto the bar very tightly, and B. The threads flatten out the first time it is used. I tried to replace the thread adapters with metal ones, but the screw underneath is a strange size that doesn't fit normal adapters. Had to buy a different bar.
