Works for kitchenaid kdfe104dss1
Original gasket/seal was caked with hard water deposits. When I removed it to clean/lubricate it, the old seal just came apart. This piece appropriately replaced the manufacturer's seal. I lubricated it with silicone grease and have run 4-5 loads through the dish washer. No leaks yet. Four stars because $14.00 for a little gasket such as this seems a bit much. That being said, it certainly is cheaper than buying the entire sump assembly.

Perfect! Dishwasher Back in Service!
This little seal was all my Kitchenaid dishwasher needed! After searching the internet for this part, I learned the manufacturer no longer offers this seal separately. If you want a new seal to stop your dishwasher from leaking water like a pig from underneath, you're forced to purchase a new diverter motor (which is where the replacement seal needs to be installed). My Kitchenaid is top of the line with all the bells and whistles but less than a year after we purchased itthe leaking began. This little seal made my day. Replaced it myself. :)

Worked For Whirlpool Gold Dishwasher!
Seeing as dishwasher manufacturers seem to not offer this part by itself, only in a sump replacement kit that costs $80+, I was glad to find that this part worked for my Whirlpool Gold dishwasher. The original seal shared the same dimensions of thus part except for the thickness. The original was 6mm, whereas this part is 8mm. Luckily, the part still fit well enough and fixed the leak that was coming from the diverter motor.

Quick fix
If you have a whirlpool dishwasher and it's leaking from underneath, specifically from the drive motor, try changing out this rubber seal. As others mentioned the manufacturers don't sell this one piece and require you to purchase the drive motor or even worse the entire motor assembly. So glad I found this, our washer has stopped leaking and is back to doing its thing.

Dishwasher fixed in 15 min ..... for 14.39
This grommet is 2 ml higher than original ..... but it does not affect operation & stopped the leak! There's even a UTube video which walks you through the easy step to replace. Its a crime that Whirlpool / Kitchenaid does not sell the seal, making you by the entire diverter. Thank you ...... was getting sick of doing dishes!!

Don’t let Kitchen Aid get anothe dollar from your wallet keeping their under engineered products functional.
Fixed my leaking diverter valve on my Kitchen Aid dishwasher. Shame on Kitchen Aid for not selling this anymore and offering only the major (and expensive) component for the repair. Easy to install, applied silicone grease to surfaces prior to installation for good measure. Unit has been in heavy use for months since repair with no leak.

They won't tell you but this little part is usually why a dishwasher leaks, a service call to replace this will cost you hundreds or buy this and fix it in 10 minutes EASILY! Yourself!

Worked perfect for my Whirlpool dishwasher.
Worked perfect to fix the diverter valve seal on my Whirlpool dishwasher. Used a 90 degree angled pick to remove the old seal.
