Light/Medium Self-Tanning Foam - Lightweight, Buildable Formula Gives a Sun-Kissed Glow for a Flawless Finish; 200 mL/7.04 Oz

As a complete tanning novice, I’ve always avoided self-tanners because they seemed like too much faff — but this one was surprisingly easy to use. The lotion applied smoothly and, even though I worried about leaving streaks during application, the finished result was streak-free and very natural looking. It really feels quite foolproof, even for beginners. The instructions could be clearer on how long to leave it on (other than the six hours for a deep tan), but I left mine for around four hours after adding a second layer as suggested. After rinsing, I was left with a lovely natural glow and no transfer onto my sheets overnight. I imagine it would work well as a buildable tan too. The scent is strong coconut — which I didn’t mind at all, and definitely preferable to the usual “biscuity” fake tan smell. That said, I did notice a faint hint of the latter underneath, but nothing unpleasant. Overall, this is a brilliant, user-friendly tanning lotion that gives a natural result with minimal effort. Perfect if you’re new to self-tan and want something easy and reliable.

First time using this tan and can confidently say it will now be my go to. I’ve tried so many tans in the past that were either too dark and or left me looking orange. Because I’m ginger it can be really difficult finding a tan that looks natural, plus I am fair olive which makes the process that bit more difficult. This tan is hands down the most natural looking I’ve tried and I have tried quite a few over the years. The mousse went on really easily, smelled really nice going on but I will say the typical fake tan smell does appear once the tan has developed. I applied one layer and left it on for 3 hours before rinsing off which resulted in a beautiful natural looking glow. Definitely try if you’re nervous about tanning or are worried about turning orange.

Best self tanner out there.! I’ve always been the human equivalent of a highlighter. I literally glow in the dark. SPF 100 is my best friend. But after discovering Bondi Sands Self Tanner, I’m not just glowing, I’m glowing in the best, bronzed way possible. The mousse is lightweight, doesn’t streak, and smells like coconut dreams (not like that weird fake-tan smell you’re used to). I applied it in the evening, went to bed and woke up feeling like I just returned from a tropical vacation. My skin looked like I’d been lying on the beach in Bali for a week, minus the sunburn.

Good tan, nice even colour and easy application. Does transfer to sheets when tanning at night even when dry unlike the Bondi aero light self tan.

Not usually one for leaving reviews but I felt I just had to with this product. As a very pale skinned person who doesn't tan but loves to be tanned, I have had a very love hate relationship with false tans. I've tried SO many I lost count but always ended up with a streaky or patchy finish, looking darker on certain areas and not taking to others at all, washing off in patches, that horrid fake tan smell, hard to apply, etc, etc...I gave up for a while and stuck to my old faithful instant tan but its such a ball a c h e having to reapply every day, expecially in summer. But wow...this false tan has literally changed my life! I exfoliated beforehand in the bath but pretty half heartedly, applied a little bit of moisturiser to my elbows, kness and ankles (dry areas) and used the Bondi Sands mitt to apply (amazing mitt as it is waterproof lined so no tan on your palms). The foam has a slight instant tint so you can see where it's going and it dries in instantly so you don't have to keep rubbing at it for ages and no streaks! It smells beautiful as you're applying, coconutty, and it's just so quick and easy. Straight away I felt I had a nice glow and after a few hours a darker colour had developed (as shown in the photo). The notorious false tan smell did develop a bit with the tan but not horribly so. The next morning I showered and the tan stayed fully in place. I am absolutely in love with this Bondi Sands product! Would fully recommend.

Love this product. Goes on easy and gives you a lovely natural tan. It doesn't streak like most self tanning products do, dries in seconds, will definitely buy this again.

I have used many different self tans over the last 25 years and this is by far the best. I am blonde with freckles and pale skin and most self tanning products just make me look orange especially on my face, hands, elbows and knees. I have been using Dove gradual tan up until now but this is so much better! I'm glad I took a risk on it. It was really easy and quick to put on with the mitt and didn't run or streak when being applied. It dried quickly. It smells ok too. I left it on overnight and this morning I have a lovely light and natural looking tan! It does leave temporary stains on bedlinen which I hope will wash out(!) but if leaving on overnight I would wear a loose fitting long sleeve top and trousers to prevent transfer onto bed linen.

Applies well but VERY light This goes on evenly and is completely streak-free, which is great. However, the colour is extremely light. It looks dark when you apply it, but most of that washes off. I left it on overnight and after showering in the morning, only a very subtle, barely-there glow remained. Good if you just want a light sun-kissed look, but don’t expect an actual tan. Too light for me.

Maravilloso el color q da. Yo me hidrato la cara y pasado 5' me lo aplico con GUANTES. Y al momento segun pones ya estas morenita encima puedes poner colorete .. se seca al momento hay q extenderlo muy rápido.mancha un poco ropa sino lo dejas secar antes

I'm an extremely pale person. Im talking like Irish white but with dark hair. I'd say im about a shade or two darker than the whitest foundation shade like from IT cosmetics brand because i use "fair light" and its too dark for me but i use it anyway. I never write reviews but I feel like I need to for this product because I was nervous to buy it and read the reviews and im happy i purchased it. If you aren't sure where to start with tanning just buy this, im not kidding. You cant go wrong. The only other tanner Ive used is coco and eve and im comparing it to this. The coco and eve left streaks and did not want to fully dry for me, it also did not want to come off and I had to really scrub it off and it clung to every dry spot on my entire body. The Bondisands blended in great, their mitt was all I needed to put it on and it came out a nice glowy slightly darker than my own skin color. I actually left this on the rest of the day and overnight and it sat well, did not streak even after cleaning the house and giving my baby a bath (which i was worried about it washing off and being streaky but it was fine!) And then i went to bed and slept in it and it did not transfer on my sheets and woke up and showered it off. I did not see it coming off my skin orange in the shower either, the coco and eve basically washed off orange when i showered. Afterwards, we are not talking drastic change do not expect that ,but it was a nice little glow. If you want a foolproof tan to test out before going out in public that you know wont make you look orange this is the product for you. It will give you a glow and it helped boost my confidence a little bit and that's why we purchase things like this anyway right? And it's very affordable. So my plan now is to keep buying this and "maintain" it, and maybe try a darker color in this brand before my vacation because nobody wants to feel like the only pasty white person on the beach 😅 and nobody wants skin cancer either! I go in the tanning bed here and there but I dont feel great about it so when I am feeling particularly pasty like in the summer time and can't hide my legs and arms then bondi sands will be my go to from here on out. Look in the photo you can tell where the tan is because i avoided my hands because it was a catastrophic event when i used the coco and eve my hands were very orange i learned not to put it on my hands the hard way. Next time I think ill put slightly more on the top of my palms I was just really nervous to be orange and im off this week so I did this as an experiment in case it came out bad I had no where to be. I’ve been using Bondi Sands for years, and is my favourite. It gives such a natural, even tan, no orange tones, no streaks, and it fades beautifully over time. The formula is easy to apply, especially with a mitt, and I actually love the scent. It dries quickly, develops into a golden glow, and makes my skin look sun-kissed without the sun damage. If you’re looking for a reliable, go-to tan that’s beginner-friendly but salon-level good, this is the one!
