Rosewood knife is a much better value.
The quality of the Swiss Army pocket knife is better. However, the Rosewood knife is a better value. If you’re chopping wood 24/7 the Swiss Army knife is better. If you want a knife that will cut labels off of a new shirt or help you get at an aspirin from packaging the Rosewood knife will work just as well.

Special
I've been a knife collector on and off for my entire life. More recently I've downsized, etc. But I still have some interesting pieces. This pocket knife is super nice for the price . The rosewood looks even better in person than in the Amazon photos. As far as functionality goes, it has everything I want. I have already used several of the tools with no complaints so far. If the main blade needs sharpening, that can be done on the underside of a coffee mug if a knife sharpener is not available. So far it's done everything I've asked of it.If there is a surprise, it's that the knife is smaller in overall size than I expected. But to me, that is not a disappointment, but a benefit. You have all of these tools at your disposal (phillips screwdriver, scissors, corkscrew, can opener, bottle opener, etc.) in a small, compact, easy to carry package. I would say that it's about the size of a disposable butane lighter--not much bigger, if any. From the pics, I was expecting something larger. But now that I have it in hand I see the genius of it--the smaller size , yet with tremendous functionality. This is one of those products that you find on Amazon and ask yourself, "How do they do it?" I think I paid $6 or $7 for this shipped--how can that even be possible? But somehow, through the magic of Jeff Bezos and the US Postal Service, it is. And I am grateful--for this and so many other wonderful products that I have been fortunate enough to discover here on Amazon over the years. What else can I say? Highly Recommended! Thanks again Amazon!

Good for cub scouts, dull as a butter knife
I bought these to use to teach knife safety to a bunch of cub scouts. The boys loved them. They have all the essential tools you'd expect from a more expensive swiss army knife, but its clear you're getting what you paid for. I don't see them lasting very long under much use (let alone by a bunch of 10 year olds). The biggest detractor was we teach that you need to use a sharp knife for safety -- to avoid overpressure on the wood you're carving and potentially slipping. These are dull as butter knives. I couldn't even get them sharp with my whetstone. I needed to use a grinder to create the edge that didn't exist before.

Great For The Price
This knife is excellent for the price. If the rosewood sides were glued on better, it would be worth a lot more. I plan to get more of these and scatter them around in different utility and tool boxes, glove boxes in the cars/trucks, because I can take the rosewood sides off and re-epoxy them on using clamps to get a 100% grip rather than the 50% grip my utility knife came with. The knife feels very solid, and the tools are good, especially the scissors and screw drivers. The knifeblade is a handy letter opener and could be sharpened for carving wood or feathering for kindling and small tasks. I really like this knife because it is so inexpensive yet pretty good quality! It's like I have my everyday tools and my really great tools. This is the everyday kind. I will use this knife a lot, but not until I reglue the rosewood sides down so I don't have to worry about them coming undone at a bad time. Last comment: replace the lanyard split-O-ring thingie immediately, it is a 1-star piece.

Jokes on me!
I had to laugh when I received this little knife. And when I say little I mean little. I guess my critical reading skills were not being put to use when I read the description before ordering. It says the knife is 3 in Long and I was thinking they meant the blade. Nope, the entire thing is 3 in. I gave it five stars because believe it or not I think it is worth the cheap price they are charging for it but it definitely was not what I was expecting. As long as you understand that it's not a normal size Camp or Scout knife, you will be happy with it.

Some came defective
Multiple knives came broken. Pieces aren't attached. Went to pull the blade out and the whole thing came out. Glad I bought extra because so many were a waste.

Good product
The cork screw is a little to close to the nailfile making it hard to take out.
