Great camera, great quality
This works just as well as the cheaper indoor varieties but it is built TOUGH. The indoor ones are built of plastic and feel a little cheap, although I have never had problems with them either. But this thing is built like a tank with extremely thick metal. It has same issues present in the other varieties from Faleemi, mainly software related.Common software glitches: A) Getting a black screen when I go to view the camera from the app. Switching from 720p to VGA, and then back always clears this up. B) Camera getting confused sometimes and displaying a pink hued image during the day that is fixed naturally within a daily cycle or manually by resetting the power. These are relatively minor problems and happen infrequently. That being said, I was able to get the camera connected to my wifi network and functioning on the app within 3 minutes. The installation took a little bit longer, but I am a happy customer. If I had to offer a suggestion to Faleemi, it would be 1) Please fix the relatively minor but inconvenient software bugs, and 2) Offer this camera in standard 120v! It was difficult trying to fit the power transformer under my soffit.Happy customer, thank you!

Like them so well, we got more AND Excellent Customer Support
We now have 8 Faleemi cameras, indoor and out, and really like them. The picture’s clear and they work well in low-light. They're very easy to use and once the first is set up, the rest set up easily.I haven't yet mastered some of the software but the basics are very doable. We haven't finished setting up all the outside ones but did a trial run... so far so good.Since these cameras operate on Wi-Fi, you need to have broad enough Wi-Fi network to handle it and any other Wi-Fi appliances (like cell phones, tablets, computers, etc) you might have.UPDATEIt took longer to get my outside cameras set-up because we needed an outlet where there wasn’t one. Several months passed. Somewhere between doing test-run set up and finally getting it plugged into the newly installed outlet, we lost a power cord. I contacted Faleemi and asked if I could purchase a replacement power cord . They did even better. They responded quickly and sent me a new power cord free of charge. Customer support with Faleemi is outstanding. Very easy to work with.

Good picture but the rest isn’t that great
Ok so I bought 3 of these cameras. 2 of the 1080i and 1 720p. The 720p would only work in 480 and would freeze completely in 720 so I just returned that one. The 1080i have great picture quality and work very well. The only reason for 2 stars is the email alert system. Some days it will literally send you an email every second of the day, some days it will send you nothing at all. After speaking to the company they really did try to help me out but they want you to have different email address for every single camera you have. So we decided to return these. Will be looking for something better. Update: as of ocotober 20 we have 2 nest cams and they are great. But do have to pay for the monthly subscription for the cloud if you want anything to be saved

Your app needs some updates, it's constantly just loading.
The camera is fine for a unmovable item you can't talk or listen through. You get what you pay for i guess. My biggest irritation is the app which always freezes and you have to completely close out of to load the picture it gives. Sometimes even that doesn't work and i have to turn my phone on and off. My wifi is awesome so it's certainly not that. The app needs some major improvement in my opinion...

Nice little camera
I got a warning every time there’s movement so my grill sits right outside of the light but when the winds blowing it sets the alarm off which is fine by me I just turn the volume down on my cell phone but you can see everything clear as day one it’s 1 o’clock in the morning what I’ve been using it lately for is when I let my dogs out and I don’t want to stand out on the cold side porch waiting for the pooches I come back in and as soon as they run up on the Backstep the alarm goes off I go out let them in to easy love love love LOLYou know I think my dogs know about the camera to because I get to the back door quicker with the camera there than I did before I had it sometimes I go out there they be shaking a little but they were only out there 15 minutes to begin with New England weather you never now a great buy the way I will say that

Best Budget Camera
I took a gamble on one of these to replace a Ctronics that was problematic since I purchased it. From open box to streaming to Blue Iris in about 5 minutes...wow! This was the quickest set up I have ever experienced with any of these budget IP cameras. If you have any experience with ip cams, set up is lightning quick. Hard wire to router, connect to IP via IE browser, login in, configure your wireless setting, verify ONVIF is enabled in the settings, unplug network cable, power cycle, then scan with Blue Iris, change channel to 1...done! Video quality is better than average for a budget cam running over wifi. Night vision lights up the street in front of the house. The onboard web server is much quicker than other budget cams I have used in the past. It does require IE with a active X plugin though. Overall, its the best budget cam I have used to date. Hopefully I get some mileage out of it. Attached picture is from Blue Iris web stream at 80% quality during a downpour. If any other of my outdoor cameras fail, I would consider replacing with one of these. I haven't tried the phone apps, no use for them, but they look decent.
