Performance and Experience The threading on these screws matches the original equipment perfectly. You simply unscrew the standard end caps and replace them with these longer versions. They allow you to stack significantly more plates onto the handle. I found them to be extremely secure during use. Even with the added weight there was no rattling or movement of the plates. However it is important to note that these extend the overall length of the dumbbell considerably. When doing exercises like chest presses the dumbbells can touch each other sooner at the top of the movement. You have to adjust your form slightly to accommodate the extra width. Verdict These are an excellent purchase if you have outgrown the base weight of your Eisenlink set. They are sturdy and safe but you must be prepared for the dumbbells to feel much bulkier during use.
