OrcaTorch D620 2700 Lumens Canister Light

You absolutely can't beat this light at this price point. Can you get a better canister light? Of course you can, but you'll pay 3, 4, or 5 times what this unit costs.I was actually waiting for the d630 to come out before buying a new primary light (and I've been waiting for a long time), but my previous primary light suffered some irreparable damage and I needed a replacement right away. I ordered up the d620 and have not been disappointed.I love that it runs on 4 18650's and not some proprietary cell. I can swap out the batteries between dives and have a fully charged light. And I don't have to worry about having to send the battery pack in for service if something goes wrong.The Goodman handle that comes with this light is one of the best I have seen. I don't know why significantly more expensive lights don't come with such a well designed handle.

On full bright it is significantly brighter than the ptec led I used to use (and my dive buddy still uses). After our lobster dive my buddy said he's going to switch over as well after seeing ours side by side. The goodman handle is comfortable, easy to adjust, and I like that it uses 18650 batteries. I ordered some extra batteries that I can swap out when I swap tanks. The battery charger that comes with it seems to be of good quality too. We'll see if it all lasts after I put it through the paces but I'm definitely pleased with my purchase thus far.

This is a very good quality product, easy to use with gloves on underwater.
