1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle for Adults/Teens 27.5” x 19.7” (Collection 1) (Blossom Cottage)

I had just finished a 500-piece puzzle and thought a 1000-piece puzzle would be a bit of a challenge, so I gave this one a try. This Blossom Cottage puzzle from Ravnspire is quite challenging, and not just because of the number of pieces! I have zero complaints about the difficulty level, though.The puzzle arrives in a sturdy box that has a flap closure. The flap is secure and snaps closed, so no pieces fall out if the box is stored upright on a shelf. The pieces inside are in a plastic bag that doesn't reseal. The flap cover opens up flat and can be used as a sorting area for pieces.I realized right away that this puzzle was going to take me longer than expected, so I got a roll-up puzzle mat to store it in between sessions. I started with the edges and even those were tricky, since there are a lot of similar colors. Greens, especially, could go anywhere along three sides.An additional layer of difficulty was added when I saw that some pieces fit one side of another piece, but weren't the right piece for the section of the puzzle and ended up fitting the correct pieces elsewhere. Sort of like a fun fake-out!The printing is clear and the pieces are thick enough not to get accidentally bent from all the trial and error this puzzle takes. I am very happy with this puzzle and will look for more puzzles from Ravnspire.

My wife did most of this one and wanted me to rate it a negative. But that's because she's used to the grids on the back. There are none. She's also not used to puzzles that confuse you. This one has a lot of pieces that fit together even though they don't belong. I didn't see that as much as she did but there are some.The 4 puzzle C'sColor - Beautiful picture, applied well with no peeling or issues.Cut - a few pieces stuck, but overall they were all cut very well. These are somewhat classic puzzle shapes.Connection - Lots of tricky pieces where they fit even though it's not correct. Otherwise, good fit in the pieces.Cleanliness - Very little puzzle dust on this.

My mom has been loving this one. She likes puzzles but always struggles a bit with figuring out where a piece goes by looking at the picture. Since the picture insert is the same size (and the color matches) we started building it literally on top of the picture, which is a sort of easy mode that makes you feel like a puzzle whiz.The pieces are also nice and dense and haven't delayered at all, which has been great, and the box is a fold over magnet closure type that feels top notch.The downside is that the puzzle was clearly AI generated, with weirdly sharp spots next to oddly blurred spots and one of the bushes almost looks like it is made of fire, and what is going on with that awning? But beside that, this is a top-notch quality puzzle.

Puzzle arrives in a nice box that lifts open from one side. Unfortunately, the box opens easily. Pieces are packaged and sealed in a bag when it arrives, in order to prevent pieces getting lost, I had to store the open pieces in a zip close bag inside the box. Pieces are nice size, cleanly cut, great at interlocking with neighboring pieces. Colors are crisp and vibrant. The puzzle also includes a large poster os the puzzle image.

We are a puzzle family and quite like this puzzle because it was a good one for our younger kids ages 7 and 9. The picture made us think this was easy but the colors DTE not so easy to distinguish so it was a challenge. While the product listing says the pieces are "blue chip" and therefore special and will last longer, well, for me they just seem like a higher quality puzzle piece, completely what you are probably expecting but slightly improved. The paper did not peel away on any piece which is nice. It's definitely not a low quality puzzle piece; those are simply terrible. I do like how the box opens easily like a book with a magnetic latch, but it opens far too easily. With having kids, I'm imagining them knocking this over with puzzle pieces dumping all out, so I'm not a fan of that design at all; traditional is the way to go with box design if you have kids. Puzzle does come with a poster that shows a larger picture which is nice if you have vision challenges. There were about 20 pieces or so that fit where they shouldn’t so the piece cut/shape could be greatly improved. Some think that contributes to the difficulty but for me it’s just annoying.

This puzzle is well made, a good quality item. The puzzle is fairly challenging to complete, about on par with others of this size. No problems with any damaged pieces, everything seems to be in order. This is a pretty reasonable price too, so it seems like a good deal.

As a self-proclaimed puzzler, this 1000 piece puzzle will keep me busy for a while! Well-constructed, high quality material that will last for years. Beautiful image and precision jigsaw cuts. very impressive construction and super happy with this purchase. Will get others in the series and recommend to friends who also love puzzles!

I’m not an avid puzzle builder but do like to put one together at times. This puzzle however is very challenging and unless you have probably several weeks to commit, you may not complete it. I have worked some difficult puzzles in the past but this one is probably a 9 out of 10 for difficulty. The sections of the picture with like colors is very hard since multiple pieces will fit and the only way to determine if it’s correct is to try others. I expect trial and error but this is at another level. I did however give this four stars because it’s a very well made puzzle if you have the patience to work it. The pieces are well made and the box it comes in is very sturdy to protect the pieces. There’s a full size poster included for reference, which makes a nice addition. If you have the time and patience this puzzle would be recommended just because of the quality.
