Worked Perfect!
I have light gray leather seats that were cracking; this product took several small light applications... but the seats look much better.

It worked well enough!
I ordered this leather re-coloring balm to refurbish a hand bag that I had messed up trying to paint it. My idea of painting the hand bag was a bad one and I ended up using acetone to try and take the paint off (another bad idea). Long story short, I didn't get the hand bag to look new again, but it looks much better. This leather balm didn't come with leather cleaner, or the protection cream you put on the leather after the re-coloring balm. I also didn't receive the same sponge as in the pictures. The sponge I received did get the job done. The directions for applying the balm aren't very good or detailed. It just says apply the balm to the leather. I didn't know if I should apply using the sponges, the paint brush or the plastic scoop looking tool. The picture in the description showed it being applied with the sponge, so I started with the sponge. The sponge seemed like it was just absorbing the balm and I felt like I was wasting it. So I moved to the paint brush, this worked much better, but the instructions say to apply in a circular motion. This wasn't easy to do with the brush. I then figured I would apply the balm with the brush, and then rub it in with the sponge. Problem was the sponge just kept wiping up the balm I just applied. So then I decided to try wetting the sponge, this finally worked. It did take a few tries to get how much to wet the sponge. You want the sponge just a little damp, so a small amount of water. Then squeeze the sponge to remove any excess water. Once there is no water dripping from the sponge when you squeeze it, then the sponge is ready. This technique worked nicely for me. I was able to brush the balm on a small area, then use the sponge to spread it evenly to cover a larger area. Doing it this way, in my opinion made the final outcome look much better. I didn't have sections that were darker or lighter than others.Overall, I'm satisfied with the outcome and would say the re-coloring balm does work. How long it will hold up or last is yet to be seen. The price seems to be competitive when compared to similar items. There are cheaper options, but I don't know if this is the type of product where cheaper is a good move. I will say this product works and you get a good amount of it. There is enough to take care of whatever size item you need to use it on, I'm sure you can do the complete interior of a vehicle many times over.

This balm was very easy to apply to my leather car seats. The shine makes the seats look like brand new, too. Definitely a good investment for my 1998 Corvette!
