I can't get up
Getting old SUCKS. I feel the other day, I wasn't hurt but I literally spent 20 minutes trying to get up without hurting my husband or putting weight on my knee. I finally had to call the fire department. The came in and got me up in under 2 minutes. .This will help my husband stand sturdy while helping me get up when I fall in the furure.

The customer service was great. When I wrote a review, they immediately wrote back, fixed what I did'nt like, fixed the belt length and sent it back quickly within days.

Needs improvement
The handles are convenient but the “one size” belt is too large for the average adult, and it’s difficult to adjust and secure in the adjusted position. It would be beneficial to have this available in sizes.

Being able to lift a person
I have tried this using my daughter, and she used it on me practice to see if and how it works. I sat her up very easy and the same with me. The real test will be in a emergency and then I will leave a review on how it works hopefully I never have to use it.🫰

Safety
Got this after my mother-in-law fell and we struggled to get her up. I am 5'1 and 114 lbs my husband is slightly larger. My mother-in-law is over 200 lbs dead weight not helpful in any way, able to comprehend what we want her to do. This made a night and day difference in us being able to pick her up.

A good quality strap that can make all the difference when a loved one needs assistance
My mom contracted Lyme disease last summer and, even after she began treatment, she was still very weak and needed a lot of assistance. I tried to help her move around in bed one night, but I ended up hurting her shoulder quite badly when I was pulling her up. As soon as I saw this sling, I wanted to have it on hand just in case she experiences something like that again in the future.It’s made of strong PVC material, and the straps feel very secure. I tested it with my mom today, and we were surprised at how much easier it was on both of us. It distributes the lifting force over a broader area, decreasing the likelihood of injury. She was able to slide it around her back and under her arms, and it made lifting her infinitely easier. You have to be careful not to let it bunch up, as that can be uncomfortable for the liftee, but it really is a game changer. I especially like the dual handle design, which allows you better leverage at different angles.It’s rated up to 330 lbs, which should be adequate for most people. My mom weighs about 230, and we didn’t experience any issues at all when lifting her.At $23.99 I think is priced very well for the quality and performance. You can find cheaper options on Amazon, but you have to pay attention to size because many of those are substantially shorter than this one. It never hurts to do a little comparison shopping, but I’m very pleased with this strap and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.Our rating: 4.5 stars
