This kit is neatly packaged in two toteable carry bags. Each item is wrapped to prevent scratches and boxed individually for protection so the set arrives in perfect condition.The components have a top quality feel. The tripods function smoothly, are solid, stable and sturdy. The light fixtures are heavy duty and well assembled. The soft boxes are made of particularly sturdy materials and will last. They can be used without the diffuser scrim for more specular highlights or with the scrim for a very soft diffused light. The diffuser scrims attach easily with Velcro and wrap around the reflector so no unfiltered light escapes. Two white nylon umbrellas are included that can be used as direct diffused light or reflectors. Everything sets up quickly and easily and can be broken down and packed in minutes.The bulbs have a large soft light diffuser over them so they contribute to an even spread of light. They are 25 watt CFL so their output is around 2600+ Lumens, about that of a 150 watt incandescent bulb. They are color rated at 5500 Kelvin so, white daylight. Since they are cold lights, you can position them closer to the subject without discomfort and have a total of some 10,500 lumens on the subject for realistic F stops and shutter speeds.The 3 backdrops give you a black, white and chromakey green. Made of soft nylon material that drapes well, hangs and flows nicely with light fold marks. The tripod and hanging bar is solid and extends high enough for a standing pose. Six clamps are included for any adjustments.This is the best, most complete and well made lighting set I have seen. I think this is a great value and a set that will give you good service for a long time.

Just have to give a four because the box is missing the 6 backdrop clams.Is good materials and great quality so far.

I do amature photography and have bought a few of these things individually over the years. When I saw this I honestly was not expecting much out of it because it was relatively cheap for what you get. I got this pretty much exclusively for the backdrops and stands.After getting the product and messing around, I am actually really happy with this. I was surprised at the quilty and the value you get. THe stands and backdrop alone are worth it imo, but you get so much more.In addition, I like that there is a carrying case. I have so many stands / flashes that all have different size bags and it makes it hard to carry to a shoot. Having a single bag big enough for all these things is great.
