Expensive and limited life

i dont know if i wired it up correctly. As i didnt have the appropriate screw in holder, so i solderd one wire to the solder base on the lamp and wrapped the other around the the thread, 2 2 amp fuses burnt out so i put a 13 amp in and there was a bang and that was the end of my bulb, sob sob.

Bought one Dec13 and have just had to buy a replacement. I think I got about 9,000 hours use (dusk to dawn fitting), certainly nowhere near the 28,500 hours average claimed. So a bit disappointed. But it was fine while it lasted.

Does the job well, good light and minimal running cos. Quick to start up unlike it's predecessor. all round good buy

Good replacement bulbs. Speedy delivery and good value.
