Gets the attention it deserves
This comes in so handy. I think it would scare anyone away. For me it provides safety while walking, in daylight and caring for animals at dusk.A very distracting noise.

Nice small horn for small boat; until it blew up!
Coast Guard requires a noise making device on small boats, and this fits the bill without taking up much space.Rating changed from 5 stars to 1 star. Would go to 0 stars if I could. After having this for less than a month, it blew up yesterday. It was inside a waterproof box along with other emergency supplies in the center console of my 17 foot Shallow Stalker Bay Boat. Temperature was moderate, about 78* partly cloudy. Boat was on the trailer at the boat yard for service, when they tell me it blew up, scaring the heck out of the two techs working on the boat, completely destroying the waterproof box it was inside and scattering the rest of the emergency supplies all over the place. I cannot recommend a product like this, and will be trying to find a better air horn preferably made in the USA.
