Flawless Mold Release Every Time — A Must-Have for Serious Crafters and Resin Artists
If you work with molds—resin, epoxy, silicone, candles, or even soap—you know how critical it is to get a clean release. Nothing is more frustrating than spending hours on a project only to have it stick, warp, or tear coming out of the mold. This spray solves that problem entirely, and I honestly wish I’d discovered it sooner.Right out of the box, the packaging gives a premium feel. You get 4 large 500ml cans, which is a generous amount and goes a long way—especially considering you only need a light mist for each use. The spray head delivers a smooth, even coat that dries quickly without any sticky or greasy residue. It doesn't interfere with the clarity of resin or dull the shine, which was a concern for me initially.I've tested it on various mold types: silicone, plastic, even older molds that are starting to lose their non-stick surface. In every case, the difference was noticeable. Resin pieces came out effortlessly, even those with fine details and sharp corners. I’ve also used it while making candles and small epoxy trays—it works across the board. What really stood out to me was how much easier cleanup became. My molds stayed cleaner, required less scrubbing, and showed less wear over time. This spray has genuinely made my crafting smoother and more enjoyable. Instead of stressing over mold release or doing re-pours because of stuck pieces, I can now focus entirely on creativity and execution. It’s given me more confidence to experiment with complex pours and intricate molds. For hobbyists, small business owners, or anyone doing mold-based crafts, MRealeazy Mold Release is an investment in quality. It elevates your work, protects your tools, and saves time—what more could you ask for?Highly recommend. I won’t go back to crafting without it

Worked for me
I use melamine board to make molds for river tables and this cuts down on the sticking.

Ooops
I use this on my silicone epoxy molds at times. Do NOT spray in house near linoleum. I made that mistake 2 months ago and still have rugs taped down for traction.

Less Product Than Listed on Label
These cans have significantly less product than listed (13.6oz not 16.9oz). (See pics). Based on the large discrepancy, I don’t recommend. The cost to value is low.

Excellent! Covers evenly!
I’ve been totally happy with the difference using release spray makes when pulling pieces from the mold and feel like cleaning the molds after a project (soap and water with sometimes just a touch of vinegar) has been little easier to make sure all the residue is removed (I’ve had left over flakes ruin what would have otherwise been an awesome finish LOL!) - Covers and coats easily - Shake WELL and spray sparingly until you’re comfortable with the amount during application! - You want to get as full but also as thin of a layer as you can so try not to overdo it with a single pass - you can always add more! (LOL!) - I try and use a good distance and spray somewhere I can afford the overspray, (especially at first) like a makeshift booth from cardboard - Best thing is you can easily spread this around while it’s wet so don’t be afraid to use a brush or rotate the mold itself to coat everything and then look for signs of any excess you may want to spread out before it dries (thin and even coating is plenty!) - Hands down happy to stock up on this in the future! 9.8/10

Can help in some situations, but takes practice to use effectively
This mold release spray says it's specialized for use with silicone molds, but it can work with other things as well. I've had very mixed results trying to use it. I tried it at least six times without any success, even when I intentionally used way too much. It either didn't seem to have much of an effect at all or it left visible pockmarks in the casted material. When I tried to use it to prevent silicone from bonding to silicone the two bonded as though I hadn't used anything. Plastic molds sprayed with it bonded to epoxy resin. Frankly, I was getting ready to leave a 1-star review because it wasn't working for me at all.Thankfully I continued testing it and finally had some success. Used very sparingly it does help epoxy resin release from complex silicone molds. It can also prevent different brands of silicone from bonding together when one is poured into a mold made of the other. Finally, I tested spraying it onto a complex mold made from oil-based clay and it prevented the clay from sticking to the resin I poured into it.I took a picture of some resin I poured into a silicone mold that I'd partially sprayed with the mold release. The portion that didn't have mold release is more matte, while the part that did have it is much more glossy but also pockmarked by the mold release floating up into the resin.
