Ruckus 3X Prism Scope with Shake Awake

The ruckus is a great little prism. The 3x optic is short, making the mounting easy to accomplish. The eye relief is narrow so setup your stock so that you can just get a great view. If you need to shorten the stock by 1, you’ll have plenty of eye relief. The eye box is magnificent; far better than my primary arms prism 3x. The BDC works well for 16” barrel using 55gn. I can hit 400yd targets without a problem. I liked mine so much, I bought 2 more. Great optic.

I have to say that this red dot optic is great for the price. It has very clear glass and looks to be a great fit for my AR rifle. The eye relief will depend on what type of rifle you mount it to, in this case I mounted it to an AR rifle so in order to mount the optic correctly, you have to mount it so that the front of the base aligns or is close to the line that is found on the left side of the upper receiver. As far as durability is concerned, it seems to be made of very good material. Only time will tell how durably it is so for now I think the scope is going to work out quite well. The reason I only give it 4 stars is because you cannot co-witness with iron sights. So if you have an AR platform with the stock front sight gas block you wont be able to co-witness your sights. In fact if you look through the scope you can see the outline of the front sight in the scope. Since I have two AR platforms I decided to place this on my AR9 9mm PCC and take the scope from it and put that on my AR15. If that is the only problem that I have with this scope then so be it because its still worth it in my book. Also I went with the BDC style reticle as the other two choices are generic reticles being circle dot and square dot reticle (DX1). I chose the BDC reticle as it is closer to a Chevron style reticle because Im very familiar with that type of reticle. If you do not know how to use a Chevron style reticle I would choose either of the other two as they will be alot easier to use.

This is an amazing optic for cqb/shtf the glass is crisp and allow 1 inch groups at 100 yards it’s worth every penny it almost reminds me of the acog

Time is in there Favor.... I received a used Item, Screws messed up, scrapes on mount. not happy with Vendor, but wont have time to return....Scope seems to Function Correctly, But I paid for a New One.....

The glass quality is actually excellent for the price point but the shake awake mechanism didn’t work on both the original and on a replacement i received so I returned both. Eye relief is not great but the reticle is sharp, useful, and bright. It’s also a bit hefty for its size. If you don’t mind remembering to shut it down so as to not drain the battery this is a good buy. It’s a shame because I was truly hoping these could be a solid budget alternative to Vortex or Primary Arms.

I’ve had this prism scope out to the range several times in the last month or two. Perform well, however, it’s a little big/heavy. I have astigmatism, so wanted to try a prism. This is an affordable way to see if this type of optic is a good fit for your rifle. It turns out I do like the prism the reticle is always crystal clear. I would recommend to anyone that wants an affordable prism.

Strait out the box I was shocked on how well the glass was. The eye relief is a much better than the acog optic and allowed me to move it further away from my charging handle on my ar pistol. The shake and wake feature so far works after 10 minutes will shut off. the instructions said after 20 minutes of sleep it will shut off completely so before storing make sure the brightness is set to your liking. It came with an extra battery and one in the optic ready to go. The weight is nothing to worry about and the shake and wake is definitely adds to the value of the money .
