I just finished this bottle of Maxi Health Ashwagandha Saffron Complex. The Ashwagandha and the Saffron are standardized so that you have consistency in the amount of herb in each capsule. The Ashwagandha has a high dosage of 600 mg standardized and the Saffron is 30 mg. The suggested dosage is 2 capsules 1 to 3 times a day. If you use the max dosage this bottle will only last 10 days. If you need to have this amount every day, it gets very pricy. I have been using only 2 capsules after dinner as part of my evening routine to wind down for the night. Ashwagandha and Saffron have slightly different benefits in this formula, but both help with relaxation for better sleep. These herbs have a lot more benefits individually and are very versatile, but this formula does a decent job of relaxing me. I can't imagine how relaxed I would be if I took this 3 time a day! I had no problems with the capsules. They are easy to swallow and leave no after taste. I also did not notice any digestive disturbances or any unusual side effects. Maxi Health has a brief introduction into their company. It has been around since 1974. They do their own research and development of formulas. Their ingredients are 3rd party lab tested and they state the ingredients are globally sourced. They state that they use only the cleanest and purest of ingredients. They also claim the cGMP badge for their manufacturing facility, but they do not state where their facility is. Maxi Health is an American company and also Kosher. They seem to be mostly transparent, but I would like to know more about the company. There's enough information about the company that give me the trust to recommend This Ashwagandha Saffron supplement for unwinding at the end of the day so you can get a good night's rest.

Although I like the ingredients in this supplement and how it works replacing it on a monthly basis is not practical on fixed income. Other than that, I have no issues with the product.

I like this supplement and would recommend it. I took a star because of how expensive it is.I think I am more relaxed after taking this supplement. I have been taking it for a few weeks currently. I seem to fall asleep faster and I sleep better after using this supplement. I think I have noticed I might feel calmer than I do usually. I liked adding this to my regimen.I like the mix of ingredients in this supplements.It's nice to have both 600mg Ashwagandha and 30mg Saffron capsules. There are no odors or odd tastes with the supplement. The size of the capsules are standard. I like that the serving size is 2 capsules. There is a 30 day supply in this bottle.

Ashwagandha is not for everyone. It does an exceptional job at calming the mind which in return, can help with a number of things. Getting to sleep earlier and just being more gentler, having patience, throughout the day are big pluses for me. This works great. It doesn't have a horrible taste, it's absolutely tolerable. Just keep in mind if taking Ashwagandha for the first time, that with some people, it overwork itself. It can make you not have any cares about anything, big or small. I have some turmeric from this same company and that has been great, so I thought I would give this ashwagandha a try. I have a different brand of ashwagandha that is mixed with some other things, and that stuff does such an effective job of calming me. I had hoped this would work the same, but I'd say the effect was about half that of the other brand. I will keep it as a back up, but I don't think I would reorder this particular brand.

I find Ashwagandha improves my mood exceptionally. My mood is calmer, more relaxed. It enhances my mental and overall being and helps clear my thoughts of negative vibes and feelings.

I am having a hard time noticing anything different. I take several stimulants like nicotine, coffee, Kratom for sciatica, melatonin, and several vitamins. When I added this, I couldn't notice it too much. I also struggle with falling asleep. I average 4-5 hours a night, then the weekend comes and I catch up a little. This isn't the fault of this product. I also only took one at a time and only twice a day. I am hesitant to increase it.The taste is fine, I have had no bad aftertaste. The capsules are easy to swallow. I do believe this supplement is effective because I have a few people in my life that swear by it. I do believe them. I think the price is a little steep, But I think if it really works well for you, then that may be worth it.
