we bought this for my mom and she seems to really like it.

I was unable to screw one of the legs into one of the threaded plates under the ottoman due to size mismatch, the hole was too small. someone should've tested the product to make sure all the detachable legs can be screwed into each thread hole. i ended up stripping the leg bolt and now i have a three legged ottoman. i do, however, like the adjustable cover and the storage space. i will take the legs out for a really low ottoman!Update: I was able to fix it by expanding the thread hole with a drill in order to accommodate the bolt connected to the leg. I used a Hex nut to secure bolt to the plate.

This fabric-covered ottoman is exactly what I was looking for. It arrived well-packaged, only needing the legs to be screwed on, and it was ready to go. I have a bad knee, and I need to keep it elevated when I'm sitting on the sofa. But when I use a normal height footstool or ottoman, my knee is fully extended, and that can be very uncomfortable. This small ottoman addresses that issue, as it's short, much closer to the floor. I also like that it takes up little space, easy to move out of the way. It has a lid with a compartment where I keep my laptop when I'm not using it. Handy extra feature! And the lid is fully removeable, shorter on one side, so the ottoman can have a slanted profile if you so choose. I consider this piece an excellent value. Recommended.

Keep in mind the dimensions of this "ottoman" are only 11.8"D x 15.75"W x 11.29"H. That means it can only raise your feet by less than one foot. It's a really small footprint, but this item is very sturdy and well made. I especially like the fact that you can arrange the top to either be flat or at an angle--although with it being a foot tall, I'm not certain how the angled top would really work. I like the flat arrangement as a foot stool. It does offer some storage, but I wouldn't really call it an ottoman because it's so small. Also, the gray material is very, very dark. Almost black. But the material is very strong but also feels soft enough to rest your feet without feeling scratchy. I recommend it--as long as the size is what you're looking for!

This thing has great space for the size and is very comfortable. Pretty impressed and very surprised at how good it feels, especially when shoes off. Time comes. currently keeping this thing under my desk. Love it

The ottoman is an okay size, on the smaller side. Perfect for resting feet. Difficult to sit on ,low to the ground. Fabric is good quality. Has storage space inside for little things.

My toddler loves to perch on it all day while watching TV. The two adjustable heights are perfect. The flat setting makes a great little stool, while the angled position is comfy for resting feet. It's easy to switch between them depending on the mood.Plus, it's surprisingly sturdy.... Even with all my toddler's enthusiasm, it holds up great. The storage compartment underneath is a lifesaver too. It keeps the room tidy by hiding away toys and blankets.Overall, this ottoman is a comfy seat, a handy footrest, and a great storage solution – all in one! Highly recommend it for anyone with little ones.

This ottoman/footstool is quite small. I should have probably read the listing better before ordering. I will take the fault of being unknowledgeable of its size until arrival. Therefore no starts should be taken away for that. I did however provide picture and added a regular sized volleyball for reference. Now, the actual footstool is well made. The wooden feet are very easy to screw on. The fabric seems well put together and durable. The footstool is sturdy but soft on the feet. I like how you can switch the cushion/cover around to make it flat or have an incline.
