Does the job, now Nest E fully functional!
Very simple to install, and it does the job. Wanted to upgrade from an old mercury thermostat to the Nest E. Had 4 wires running up from basement to 2nd floor, no common. Was able to use my G wire as common, but lost independent fan control. So this little guy saved me the cost of a contractor and/or the frustration of spending 4 hours trying to run a new wire, and the system works perfectly! Just make sure your HVAC system supports a C wire in the first place. Trying to use the Power Bridge on an old system without C terminal and failing is not Lux's fault, and I unfortunately see a lot of reviews to that effect.

Good product, poor installation instructions
The five wires were color coded and easy to install to the wires in the attic. The input wires going into the splitter were labeled 1,2,3,4 and there were no instructions telling which color wires from the thermostat should go into the numbers. I had to do numerous searches online to figure it out. If I remember right starting with number 1 it went yellow, white, red and green.

Worked with Ecobee
The original C-Wire adaptor was not working. This was easy to install. I did not need to use the Y adapter (that is in the thermostat).

Killed my HVAC control board...$600 replacement!
My HVAC system is a newer a/c and oil-burner system (installed 2018) and i have a Nest thermostat and the existing system only has 4 wires (no fan G-wire hooked up), so I purchased this powerbridge to provide power to the Nest while keeping a separate G-wire for fan controls.Everything was hooked up per the instructions provided (R, Y, W, G, and C-wires on the control board, the diode/pigtail wire at the thermostat). Power was switched back on and I tried to start the fan manually in test mode. Nothing started.I confirmed everything was hooked up correctly (it was), I tried testing again, and no fan. I tried cooling, and the a/c compressor turned on and the air handler got cold, but no blower. I turned on heat to see if it would start, and no start (since i think it needs the blower to turn on before igniting).I called HVAC company to come take a look...they tested everything said the powerbridge device fried the control board (the part that controls the relay to turn on the fan), which is why the fan didn't start. They said the best way use the Nest is to use it without the C-wire (which has it's own issues), or to pull new wiring to get separate fan control.

Did not quite work for my unit.
It may be the way my unit is configured, but it would not work as intended.

Perfect solution for a 4 wire thermostat wiring which requires Common wire
We have a HVAC system which has 4 wires and does not have a common wire and got a traditional thermostat which was operated on batteries. I wanted to upgrade to Nest thermostat and my HVAC system requires a common wire for Nest to work properly. After some research I came across this Lux Power Bridge in Amazon and wanted to try this before as this was cheaper than other adapters out in the market. It comes in 2 parts.1. Power Bridge Adapter (This goes on your HVAC Control Board end)2. Split Wire (This goes to your thermostat)I followed the instructions as provided in the installation guide and it worked like a charm. I am getting a constant voltage greater than 3.90 V to my nest thermostat and I am run the HVAC fan independtly without turning on the Compressor or Heat Furnace.

Works Great
This worked like a charm with my Sensi Touch WiFi thermostat. I was upgrading from 4 to 5 wires. The simple instructions made it easy to install and it works perfectly.

No installation Instructions.
This product works as advertised. The negative is it does not come with any instructions.
