Perfect. Just use them with intelligence.
These diode are great, I use them with a relay and they allow my led flood reverse lights to turn on when I flip the switch and not back feed 12volts into my main vehicle harness (lights turn on when in reverse and also with a switch)

Great 12 Volt Power Zener
I needed a 12V Power Zener diode since I had recently upgrade my golf cart from 36Vdc to 48 Vdc and didn't want to overtax the throw coil on the 200 Amp Solenoid I recently installed which was designed for 36 Vdc throw. The 12V drop allowed me to reduce new throw from 48Vdc to 36Vdc.
