The nostalgic Trapper Keeper design is what drew me into this case. It provided sufficient protection for the tablet, however after about a month of use, the red film started to bubble on the creases of the cover and separate from the body of the case. Eventually the red film started to peel off the cover. This was aesthetically not pleasing, but the case continued to do it's job and the rubber components retained their structure. About six months later, the inside gray material started breaking apart at the creases as well, leaving behind what would best be described as hard lint when I handled the table/case. The case continued to be protective, however the amount of "lint" that crumbled off the case when handling it led me to get rid of it. It was great while it lasted, however I was disappointed that it did not last as long as some other generic cases that I've used on a previous tablet.

It's well made. It opens up in a way that takes getting used to. Maybe it's the design, maybe because it looks like a notebook, but the Kindle ends up on the "wrongc side when open. Maybe I got the "oops"? For the price, eh, it's worth the "oddness" ..if that's the right word.

Kensington steps up to the plate with this 7"-8" tablet case, which uses an effective magnetic closure system, and comes available in multiple cool designs. I really like the style of this case, and it's easy to recommend at a cheap price point. The only negative issue I have with this case is that the power button on my tablet just happens to line up perfectly with one of the 4 elastic bands that holds the tablet in place, causing the power button to stay pressed in and turned off when secured by one of these straps. I can only use 3 of the 4 bands to secure my tablet, which makes it move around a bit. It might be something for you to consider, other than that it is really stylish and protects the tablet perfectly.

I really think it cute. Only wish the inside wouldn’t flake/peel off so easily.I kept it because it was great price point.

This is the second time I've ordered this same case for my 7' amazon fire tablet. It arrived today and the case feels really nice and durable. I really like the elastic tabs that is used to hold the tablet as opposed to the regular plastic pieces that some tablet cases come with. It's also really cool how the case has a 'kickstand' feature for hands free viewing

I was excited when I saw Trapper Keeper since I grew up in the 80's and red is my favorite color. So, when I saw this I had to get it. It's cute and pretty but doesn't hold the tablet securely, the bands are flimsy and my tablet constantly falls out.

When this item arrived it was already coming apart. The inner microfiber liner was peeling off onto the vinyl outer cover where they overlapped. I went to return it, as the landing page lists it as returnable. No dice; this item is not returnable per the seller.I was instructed to contact the manufacturer by the returns algorithm. I contacted Kensington about the faulty product with manufacture info. 24 hours later they replied saying this case is out of production and isn't eligible for replacement or warranty. The Amazon landing page lists the item as still being in production.I had to have Amazon customer service call me and explain the issue and get a refund.Order if you like wasting your time!

I bought this case for an Ipad Mini. 4 black rubber straps secure the ipad to the case which stand out with a white ipad. It closes via a magnetic flap. Velcro would have been better in my opinion. In order to stand the tablet, the case needs to stretched out which takes up too much space. When holding the tablet, I find this case gets in the way because the flap needs to be folded back.

Kensington ha hecho un buen trabajo al elaborar esta funda universal. Yo la he estado utilizando desde el mes de Noviembre y puedo decir con toda seguridad que he quedado muy satisfecho. La tablet que resguarda es una NVIDIA shield tablet y la protección ha sido excelente. Buen funcionamiento de los sujetadores la mantienen en su sitio y no bloquea ninguno de los botones.Además de eso, el material es bastante resistente y acolchonado por lo que ayuda a resistir caídas de alturas normales. El cierre magnético es muy útil, y la funda permite colocarse como soporte para utilizar la tablet de forma horizontal.El diseño es muy creativo y los colores muy brillantes. Recomendado :)

Los materiales y hasta el aroma, me recordaron a la icónica marca de finales de los 80's Trapper Keeper. Y lo mejor fue el precio.Excelente producto... ¡Lo recomiendo!

Awkward size and the elastic straps inside fail to hold the tablet.

Cumple muy bien su función. Solamente las agarradera son algo delgadas y tengo duda de que puedan romperse más tarde por el uso.

Un producto de muy buena calidad protectora, lo unico a mi parecer que seria las gomas que agarran la tablet, son algo delgadas, y quedo cnon la duda de su durabilidad.
