Water Filled Umbrella Base Weight Bag, Large Water Inlet Heavy Duty Sun Umbrella Stand, Up to 100 lbs Waterproof for Outdoor Patio Stand

My husband and I bought a couple of different products to hold up our umbrella, but none of them worked as well as this product. It was a very easy product so set up and worked really well. We are very satisfied.

Material seems pretty thick, center hole is about 2" diameter I believe. Easily big enough slide onto the common umbrella poles. Intelligent design. Unlike others I've seen, this one has a drain plug. I predict I'll have no umbrellas in the back yard blow over this summer. Be forewarned though, make sure you place your umbrella where you want it stay. Once the bag is filled with water you won't want to move it!

The other umbrella weight solutions I looked at all required you use sand to fill them and were rather expensive (and did not include sand). This solution uses water and (allegedly) weighs in at 88 pounds when filled. It fits over the bottom pole and sits atop the crossed legs of the umbrella stand, and it is sturdy. I have only been using it a few weeks now but it has stood up to the constant 100 degree temps of South Texas quite well. There are three valve openings and the drain is at the bottom, so it's easy to fill and empty with water, and you can re-use that water by pouring into the pool, planters, etc.

This stand seemed to fill up and work only at first. Then for no reason at all with no abuse it just basically split at a bottom seem and drained out. It caused our elite umbrella to fall over into our outdoor furniture.

I would have kept this weighted bag - giving it 5 stars for functionality, but the odor which emits from the PVC material in warm sun was too strong for my liking, personally and environmentally. I returned the bag without issue. Perhaps the off-gassing would have dissipated over time, though I decided to go with a patio table to reenforce the umbrella and stand.

This is my second one of these that I bought and it works great. The other one I bought (from another seller) tore easily, but this seems very sturdy. Hoping it lasts!

I use this to stabilize the bottom of my Starlink pole when attached to my RV. Even in high winds the pole stays out and doesn’t move.

this is a bit cumbersome to use and move but works really well and its great that you can flatten it for storage or travel! we havent had any issues with leaking but i dont know that the seams will hold up for more than 2 summer.s.. but thats pretty par for these type things. works well and takes FOREVER to fill up
