Great product! Great customer service
This is way cool and lots of fun. Initially, I used starter fluid because I had no hairspray at the time. I recommend using only hairspray. I’m not exactly sure what happened, but perhaps some sort of chemical reaction that glued the cap onto the chamber because I could not unscrew it. It was on there! I emailed the company and they immediately sent me a replacement. Kudos to Moon Cannon 👍🏻

Save your money...BUILD ONE for less than $30.
I have had potato cannons in the past and have several friends that play with them now. Rather than build one for my son, I bought this POS! EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in this thing. We have used 3 different propellants and shot it at least 75 times. Only 20 were successful fires. The rest were misfires. We've wiped it out after each attempt and even cleaned it out. NO DICE. Still wouldn't fire. Striker still works great but can't get ignition no matter what we use. This thing is $100.00. You can build one for under $35.00. I suggest you build your own.

This thing is AWESOME! Ordered one for a buddies bbq this spring ...
This thing is AWESOME! Ordered one for a buddies bbq this spring and couldnt be happier for it. Instant life of the party and shot everything we could shove down the barrel. It took one or 2 to get the fuel ratio right, but once we did this thing easily shot out of sight over the treeline every time.I was a little worried with the trigger being up top, but it was way more solid than i thought. The igniter is strong and withstood the drunk 200lb gorillas throwing it around all day without a single hiccup. The potato cutting tip was a nice addition as well for the stuff that 'almost' fit.If you want that something extra for your summer cookouts, this is the ticket.

Great amusement
Arrived as advertised. The range is determined by how much hairspray you inject. You do lose a lot of fuel vapor in the process of trying to get the cap back on. We have yet to get the kind of distance advertised, but haven’t had that much practice. We are thinking to create a cutter/sizer for the potatoes to get the most out of the “bang”.

Less fuel more air!! Give yourself an hour to learn.
The first hour I thought I bought a dud product. I was very bummed. Then I read online how you likely need less hair spray and more air. So I would spray a couple seconds. Let the chamber air out a bit. And then quickly throw on back and BOOM! It worked. I ended up getting the hang of it and shooting two bags of potato’s. The range was about 100-120 yards on cheap hair spray. It’s fun. BUT! Not as good as some home made cannons I’ve seen. Nice this is the igniter is easily switchable you a different size cannon you could make. Which I will.

Excellent product and outstanding cutomer service.
The most fun I've had for $99.00 ever. Customer service was great. I read info wrong and customer service e-mailed me a response right away. Product is well made, reliable and well worth the money. Suggest purchasing a 50 lb. bag of potatoes so you wont have to keep running to the store.

This can be very dangerous
I nearly shot myself in the face while testing this potato gun for my grandson. Here is the order of events: I shot the first potato, then, as I was loading a 2nd potato with the plunger for him, the ignition trigger at the bottom of the gun fired and ignited residual gas in the chamber. It nearly took my head off. The problem is in the design: the trigger mechanism is not protected from someone putting the trigger end on the deck to push down the potato. Another potato gun -- The Bully -- protects the trigger, keeping the same thing from happening.
